In this paper, we introduce the ( C , Ψ * , G ) class of contraction mappings using C-class functions and some improved control functions for a pair of set valued mappings as well as a pair of single-valued mappings, and prove common fixed point theorems for such mappings in a metric space endowed with a graph. Our results unify and generalize many important fixed point results existing in literature. As an application of our main result, we have derived fixed point theorems for a pair of α -admissible set valued mappings in a metric space.

In this paper, we noticed that the existence of fixed points of F-contractions, in F -metric space, can be ensured without the third condition (F3) imposed on the Wardowski function F : ( 0 , ∞ ) → R . We obtain fixed points as well as common fixed-point results for Reich-type F-contractions for both single and set-valued mappings in F -metric spaces. To show the usability of our results, we present two examples. Also, an application to functional equations is presented. The application shows the role of fixed-point theorems in dynamic programming, which is widely used in computer programming and optimization. Our results extend and generalize the previous results in the existing literature.

The purpose of this paper is to obtain some common fixed point theorems for a family of mappings in a complete metric space. The results herein improve some of the recent theorems of Kiyoshi Iséki (Bull. Austral. Math. Soc. 10 (1974), 365–370).

The main purpose of this paper is to give some common fixed point theorems of mappings and set-valued mappings of a symmetric space with some applications to probabilistic spaces. In order to get these results, we define the concept of E-weak compatibility between set-valued and single-valued mappings of a symmetric space.

In this contribution, three new concepts called reciprocally continuous, strictly subweakly compatible and strictly subreciprocally continuous single and multivalued mappings are given for obtention some common fixed point theorems in a metric space. Our results improve and complement the results of Aliouche and Popa, Azam and Beg, Deshpande and Pathak, Kaneko and Sessa, Popa and others.

In this paper we prove two common fixed point theorems by considering four mappings in complete metric space. In the first theorem we consider two pairs of compatible mappings of type (A) and in the second theorem we consider two pairs of compatible mappings of type (B). Our results modify and extend some earlier results in the literature.© 2012 JSR Publications. ISSN: 2070-0237 (Print); 2070-0245 (Online). Let (X, d) be a metric space and Ti(i=l, 2) be self mappings of X. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the fixed and common fixed points of Ti, when the pair Ti(i=l, 2) satisfies a condition of the following type:(1)

Abstract The aim of this work is to usher in tripled b-metric spaces, triple weakly $\alpha _{s}$ α s -admissible, triangular partially triple weakly $\alpha _{s}$ α s -admissible and their properties for the first time. Also, we prove some theorems about coincidence and common fixed point for six self-mappings. On the other hand, we present a new model, talk over an application of our results to establish the existence of common solution of the system of Volterra-type integral equations in a triple b-metric space. Also, we give some example to illustrate our theorems in the section of main results. Finally, we show an application of primary results.

We define a new property which contains the property (EA) for a hybrid pair of single- and multivalued maps and give some new common fixed point theorems under hybrid contractive conditions. Our results extend previous ones. As an application, we give a partial answer to the problem raised by Singh and Mishra.

Inspired by the work of Dakjum et al. [Eshi, D., Das, P. K. and Debnath, P., Coupled coincidence and coupled common fixed point theorems on a metric space with a graph, Fixed Point Theory Appl., 37 (2016), 1–14], we introduce a new class of G − f−contraction mappings in complete fuzzy metric spaces endowed with a directed graph and prove some existence results for coupled coincidence and coupled common fixed point theorems of this type of contraction mappings in complete fuzzy metric spaces endowed with a directed graph.
