scholarly journals Fault Analysis of Electric Power System using PLC and Wireless Communication System

In present scenario electricity theft is the major hurdle in front of government. This paper comprises of functions and architecture of the smart metering and monitoring network system which works on real time data communication and have its own network. Our main motive is to design and develop such a wireless metering system which will prevent power theft and provide us a reliable and accurate metering monitoring system by using modern technology. The design comprises of wireless power metering and monitoring network which will work on principle of real time data communication(which is not available in existing wireless GSM metering system) and will use its own reliable network with the help of Programmable Logic Controller. Programmable Logic Controller, smart meters, wireless communication modules and profinet cable are the key components of the system. To provide a better and easy human interface with the smart meter we are using simplify S CADA and programming which is very user affable.

Real time data logging of different parameters of Air jet looms should be implemented to reduce the time-consuming method in the textile manufacturing industry. Implementation area of this system is a reduction of efforts and errors done by workers in the textile looms. Existing system is not able to give real time data required by the user at the required time. This system actually keeps record of different stoppages that leads to break the continuity of the machine and hence reduces the machine efficiency. This is a real time system in which wireless communication is used to transfer the recorded data to user’s computer. This recorded detail in turn is transmitted to the PC of the user to do further computation of wages of the worker and manage their work efficiency. This is a real time system in which wireless communication is used to transfer the recorded data to user’s computer as well as on mobile phone. This will provide an additional facility of monitoring the working condition of machine whether it is proper or not and thus user can also keep watch on the workers.

With the wide application of Internet of things technology and era of large data in agriculture, smart agricultural design based on Internet of things technology can efficiently realize the function of real-time data communication and information processing and improve the development of smart agriculture. In the process of analyzing and processing a large amount of planting and environmental data, how to extract effective information from these massive agricultural data, that is, how to analyze and mine the needs of these large amounts of data, is a pressing problem to be solved. According to the needs of agricultural owners, this article studies and optimizes the data storage, data processing, and data mining of large data generated in the agricultural production process, and it uses the k-means algorithm based on the maximum distance to study the data mining. The crop growth curve is simulated and compared with improved K-means algorithm and the original k-means algorithm in the experimental analysis. The experimental results show that the improved K-means clustering method has an average reduction of 0.23 s in total time and an average increase of 7.67% in the F metric value. The algorithm in this article can realize the functions of real-time data communication and information processing more efficiently, and has a significant role in promoting agricultural informatization and improving the level of agricultural modernization.

This paper presents a method to support real-time data communication over switched Ethernet. The work without modifications in the Ethernet hardware and coexists with TCP/IP suites. Experiment results shows that compared with conventional real-time network protocol, the proposed work has better real-time performances and meets the requirements for industrial control network real-time applications.

Software Defined Radio (SDR) offers a extensive radio communication platform that uses software updates to make use of fresh technology. From SDR, the idea of an Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) has evolved to personalize SDRs. The channel dispersiveness causes Inter Symbol Interference (ISI) but OFDM is more resistant at these condition because of this reason it is widely used in wireless communication systems. OFDM is having a good performance in terms of Bit Error Rate (BER) and high spectrum efficiency, so it is considered as a key role for next generation wireless communication system. In this paper, three different types of data are transferred in a real time SDR of OFDM transceiver using GNURadio/Universal Software Radio Peripheral (USRP). OFDM is extremely sensitive for synchronization errors such as time and frequency offsets and to estimate channel condition. Therefore, a standard algorithm is applied to solve synchronization and channel estimation problems in SDR based OFDM system. This testbed is implemented using two USRPs of model N210 as transmitter and receiver with an open source of GNURadio as a software. The implementation of OFDM is evaluated for different types of information like text, audio and Image. This evaluates the BER v/s SNR for real time data transmission in SDR Environment
