The paper describes an installation for the degradative depolymerization of polyolefin materials obtained from wastes, hereinafter also referred to as depolymerization for simplicity. The plant, on an industrial scale, is one of the few operating in Poland. However, it is one of the most modern plants in this industry. Design solutions, construction of particular technological lines, compliance with national and EU regulations and the high level of process safety were described in this paper as well as compared to other plants of this type in Poland. Different solutions were presented in drawings and photos of the plant and in fragmentary technological diagrams. The types of waste and the methods of their processing by the plant were also characterized in accordance with the applicable regulations. The waste throughput is from 2000 to 4000 kg/h, while the efficiency of the depolymerization installation itself is 1500 kg/h. The industrial-scale depolymerization process is carried out in one or two stages: by homogenization (extraction) at a temperature up to 200 °C and depolymerization at temperatures up to 400 °C. The obtained products (energy goods) are sold for further processing. The processes, devices and methods are characterized by novel, innovative solutions, covered by a number of patents, which are also described below. The advantage of the presented technology is the substantial simplification of the process and thereby a considerable reduction in investment costs. Among others, the processes of distillation and rectification (low- and negative-pressure) were abandoned.

Sulfuric acid residue is one kind of important secondary resource, its comprehensive utilization has drawn extensive attention. Based on analyzing the chemical composition of sulfuric acid residue, through comprehensive comparison of flotation, gravity separation, magnetized baking, magnetic separation and other joint technical processes, it is showed that the chemical-magnetic separation is reasonable by evaluating the applicable ability. Then introduced a case study on comprehensive utilization of sulfuric acid residue in Shikefeng chemical Co., LTD in Luzhou City, the duplex melting process combined advanced induction furnaces with smelting furnace was put forward. Finally, it's concluded that there are many advantages of the duplex melting process, it’s more suitable for the comprehensive utilization of sulfuric acid residue in small chemical enterprise.

This research is motivated by the success of the community in the KB village in making recycled waste handicrafts into souvenirs so that these handicrafts can support the family economy and improve the community's economy. The success of this activity is the ability of the instructor and manager of PKBM Farilla Ilmi in empowering the community. In this activity, the residents of KB village can to get the proceeds from the sale of waste recycling crafts of approximately Rp. 500,000 a month. This study aims to describe community empowerment through PKW crafts to recycle waste into souvenirs seen from the aspects of knowledge, aspects of skills, and aspects of mental attitudes. The research approach is qualitative, with the type of research is a case study. Sources of data in this study consisted of mothers from the KB Bangau Putih village as research subjects and instructors and managers as research informants. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used was data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The data validity technique used source triangulation. The results of this study indicate that community empowerment through PKW crafts for recycling waste into souvenirs is very good, this can be seen from: (1) Aspects of knowledge obtained from the results that community empowerment through PKW recycled crafts into souvenirs can be seen increasing public knowledge about processing waste into useful items. (2) In the aspect of skills, the results show that community empowerment through PKW crafts to recycle waste into souvenirs shows that people's skills in processing waste have increased. (3) the mental attitude aspect obtained from community empowerment through PKW handicraft recycling of waste into souvenirs can be seen from forming a mental attitude of people who care and are confident about what they do.Keywords: Empowerment, Waste Recycling Crafts, Kampung KB Bangau Putih
