In 586 .iortrial laciabons of 150 Friesian cattle maintained at the National Veterinary' Research institute, Vom, from 1968 to 1983. Maximum milk production ,was attained in the fifth week of lactation. The fourth and sixth lactation curves showed superiority over the first, second, third and fifth. The curves apparently indicate that culling of unproductive animals before the 6th lactation could be economically unreasonable.

The post-cercarial development of G. crumenifer (Creplin) has been experimentally elucidated.Gyraulus convexiusculus (Hutton) serves as the intermediate host under natural conditions. The adult stage of the fluke was raised experimentally in ruminants, the time taken by the parasite to attain maturity being 118 days in the kid and 114 in the buffalo calf.Cercaria chungathi Peter & Srivastava, 1955, has been established to be the larva of Gastrothylax crumenifer. The cercaria, the redial parthenita and the metacercaria have been described. The authors are grateful to the Director, Indian Veterinary Research Institute, for his keen interest in these studies.

In this paper, we presented the cluster analysis of ground-dwelling spiders. The scientific material was collected from different areas of the Tirana district, using traps Pitt. Preferences per habitat have shown that areas of the Veterinary Research Institute and the mount of Dajti have a larger number of species that are abundant in various habitats. Also, depending on the areas, it can be classified into three major groups: The Vora hills, Tirana city, and the Dajti Mountain. The analysis is based on a sample which consists of 123 ground-dwelling spiders scattered mostly in seven areas. The results of the analysis have shown the spider distribution in at least one of the areas included in the study. In addition, it also shows the dominant species for each area. All analysis is performed using SPSS statistics 20.
