This article aims to develop a new environment of collaborative learning, by taking into account the criteria of construction of knowledge by the apprentices and the adaptative management of that knowledge by artificial agents. The multi-agent technology has been chosen due to the possibility of having artificial agents with internal decision processes to help students in the construction of their own projects and enabling learning objects available in accordance with the cognitive characteristics of the students and of their group. In this multi-agent system, exchanges of messages between the agents can occur so that they can perform theirs tasks in the best possible way.

Insufficient welding or bad welding of motor armature is one of the main faults of motor armature. With the help of the application of multi-agent technology in the fault diagnosis system of motor armature to detect insufficient welding or bad welding, the intelligent description of the various faults has been enhanced, also, the capacity of fault diagnosis of the system have been greatly optimized and improved. In this paper, we first analyses the characteristics of the fault of motor armature with insufficient welding or bad welding, by which the characteristics of the fault are identified. Next, we introduces agent and multi-agent system. Finally, the building of fault diagnosis system based on multi-agent technology is discussed.

The technology of intelligent Multi-Agent System (MAS) has radically altered the way in which complex, distributed, open systems are conceptualized. This chapter presents the application of multi-agent technology to design and deployment of a distributed, cross platform, secure multi-agent framework to model a restructured energy market, where multi players dynamically interact with each other to achieve mutually satisfying outcomes. Apart from the security implementations, some of the best practices in Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques were employed in the agent oriented programming to deliver customized, powerful, intelligent, distributed application software which simulates the new restructured energy market. The AI algorithm implemented as a rule-based system yielded accurate market outcomes.

Marketing-mix plays an essential role in the competitive business environment. Marketing decision makers constantly need to monitor changes in the environment and organization to make necessary changes. Therefore, a knowledge management system is required to acquire, store, retrieve and use up-to-dated knowledge. Corporations also tend to look for systems assisting them in knowledge management. Agent technology looks set for assisting organizations in collecting, processing and using knowledge with high accuracy, speed and efficiency. This paper proposes a knowledge management framework for marketing-mix decision making through using agent technology. A multi-agent system is deployed to acquire, refine, store, retrieve, present, show and update the related knowledge of marketing-mix decision making. The fuzzy logic is applied by multi-agent system to make decision. Implementation of the proposed system in a car factory indicates that it is efficient and effective in supporting and improving marketing-mix decision making.

Aiming at key problem of sustainable development of modern manufacturing enterprise how to intelligent reuse and share manufacturing resource of enterprise. Command intelligent multi-agent technology was proposed. in this method, in order to smart reuse and share manufacturing resource of enterprise , reconfigurable modules(resource carrier, command agent)play a control role, when these modules were reconfigured, it communicated with agent of manufacturing resource, then the relevant sub-agent of manufacturing resource was reconfigured based on command; so these manufacturing resource were reused and shared in new modules. Then, Command intelligent multi-agent system and organization were discussed; finally, a case that organization command agent was simple discussed.

The model of Questions Answering (Q&A) for eLearning is based on collaborative learning through questions that are posed by students and their answers to that questions which are given by peers, in contrast with the classical model in which students ask questions to the teacher only. In this proposal we extend the Q&A model including the social presence concept and a quantitative measure of it is proposed; besides it is considered the evolution of the resulting Q&A social network after the inclusion of the social presence and taking into account the feedback on questions posed by students and answered by peers. The social network behaviorwas simulated using a Multi-Agent System to compare the proposed social presence model with the classical and the Q&A models. Keywords: Social presence, social network, eLearning, Q&A Model, MultiAgent System.
