Simulated annealing algorithm is a mathematic model, which imitates the physical process of annealing. And optical thin film is widely used in many industry, To perform the functions for which they were designed, the films must have proper thickness, roughness and other characteristics. In the paper, the simulated annealing algorithm is used to determine the film optical constant It uses the transmission data through thin film over a range of wavelengths to calculate the thickness. According to the experimental results, the solution found by simulated annealing algorithm is unique and correct.

In thin-film thickness wideband monitoring system,in order to eliminate error accumulation effect of layers which have been deposited on layer which will be deposited, the thin-film optical constants of layers deposited must be achieved.Utilizing transmittance spectral curve which has been measured, Simulated Annealing Algorithm is applied on inversion of optical constants n,k,d.For the purpose of increasing optimization speed and algorithm efficiency,the algorithm is improved, exponent dropping temperature rate varies with acceptance probability P ;The finding range of new value is controlled adaptively according to acceptance rate when the dropping temperature is t,then the algorithm is applied on the example that is membrane ZnS is deposited on the substrate of quartz glass , n,k,d are obtained in a shorter time by optimization and their values are satisfying.

This study aims to determine the machine maintenance schedule. We use the Simulated Annealing Algorithm. Fitness and reliability functions are functions that are used in the optimization process. Several weighting scenarios are done to see the unity of the function. The results of the scenario produce several alternative schedules. This algorithm is implemented on machines that have more than one sub-machine. This sub-machine is a smaller engine system part. This sub-machine also has one particular function. The results of the study show that the optimal engine maintenance period to use is six periods. There are five scheduling scenarios used in this problem. The resulting schedule can increase the value of reliability and can minimize costs.

Sintering burdening optimization has great value in reducing sintering cost and improving sinter qualities. Considering the nonlinear relationship between the high temperature characteristic parameters of iron ores in sintering, this article introduces the simulated annealing algorithm into burdening calculation and establishes a mathematic model of sintering burdening optimization. The initial parameters in simulated annealing algorithm are determined through tentative experiments, including initial temperature, cooling function, annealing constant and the end condition. The model can effectively reduce sintering cost and improve sinter qualities in its practical use.
