Abstract. For analyzing the frame whether meets actual driving needs, LCK6105PHENV-type hybrid (electric and gas) city bus frame as research object, using Solidworks12 and ANSYS-Workbench14 on frame, respectively, for the three-dimensional modeling and finite element analysis. Static analysis obtains frame’s stress and deformation results under the condition of bending and reversing (wheels dangling), modal analysis gets frame’s front 6 order vibration type, inherent frequency and the maximum deformation. Analyzing results shows that the frame basically can meet the design requirements, and in line with the actual needs of living and production. This research will provide references for optimization and improvement of new-energy Auto frame.

Strength and deflection finite element analysis was given to the 40ft Container which export to Saudi when at the lifting and static conditions in this text. The text applied three-dimensional modeling software Pro / E for solid modeling, HyperMesh finite element software for mesh, ANSYS finite element analysis software to calculate, show maximum deformation and maximum stress position to every conditions of the container .provide the reliability calculating for this type of container.

It will use SolidWorks to design structure of Manipulator and to establish the Three-dimensional Modeling based on automated welding robot of Shanghai Bamac Electric Technology Co., Ltd.,then by using the plug of simulation and motion of SolidWorks, it will focus on the Motion Simulation and Finite Element Analysis of the Manipulator. Finally the trajectory and the work space of the Manipulate can be received, and provide a basis of manipulator analysis in order to optimize the manipulator for the company.

Cylinder with multiple diagonal slits is one of the core parts of longitudinal-torsional resonance ultrasonic device. Its structure was more complex, the traditional processing processed it very difficult, and the traditional analytical methods were also difficult to make accurate description to system. The paper researched cylinder with multiple diagonal slits using experimental method, analysis of electrical discharge machining forming tools of the slits and three-dimensional modeling; developed cylinder with multiple diagonal slits, analyzed longitudinal-torsional resonance and mechanical properties of cylinder with multiple diagonal slits using finite element analysis method. Tested resonant frequency of cylinder with multiple diagonal slits with precision impedance analyzer. The finite element analysis results compared with tested results, and analysis of error between them, finite element analysis results slightly lower than the test results but the error was within the allowed range. Comparison of results and analysis of error indicated that developed cylinder with multiple diagonal slits meet requirement.

In order to study conveying roller force and improve its mechanical properties, we use three-dimensional modeling software Pro/E to build the solid model of the Apple box delivery device’s conveying roller. Using finite element analysis software Ansys to analyze conveying roller’s bending stress, we can get images of local strain and displacement contours .Contrasting with factory’s broken roller conveyor, we can find that: through the establishment of appropriate boundary conditions, Ansys can accurate finite element analysis, and provide the basis for the conveying roller structure improvements.

ANSYS is used as the finite element computing platform to analysis a certain type of bus body frame under four load conditions of bending conditions, reversing conditions, the bending and torsion conditions and the emergency braking conditions. The constraints and load approach in the four conditions are given in this paper. A certain type of bus body skeleton program and the finite element analysis are conduct. The result shows that: (1) Bus body frame changing brings the re-distribution of the stress, making the overall stress and deformation of the body skeleton relatively uniform. (2) The improved program makes more than 250KG weight losing of the body frame and the changing location of the maximum deformation under the bending conditions. The maximum bending deform increased is only 8.92%.

External fixator has played an important role in repairing fractured ankle bone. This surgery is done due to the several factors which are the bone is not normal position or has broken into several pieces. The external fixator will help the broken bone to grow and remodel back to the original appearance. However, there are some issues regarding to the stability of this fixation. Improper design and material are the major factor that decreased the stability since it is related to the deformation of the external fixator to hold the bone fracture area. This study aims to design a stable structure for constructing delta frame ankle external fixator to increase the stability of the fixation. There are two designs of external fixator with two types of material used in this present study. Both external fixators with different materials are analyzed in terms of von Mises stress and deformation by using a conventional Finite Element Analysis software; ANSYS Workbench V15. The result obtained shows the Model 1 with stainless steel has less stress and deformation distributions compared to the Model 2. Hence, by using Model 1 as the external fixator, the stability of the fixation can be increased.

Fixed beam gantry for large CNC boring and milling machine to bear the beams on the rail side apron, and other parts ram weight under weight and size of deformation produced a result of the assembly accuracy of less than standard, use three-dimensional modeling software UG and finite element analysis software ANSYS for dynamic beam gantry milling machine CNC beam three-dimensional modeling and modal analysis, based on weight and apron beams, the weight of ram and other components in relative deformation amplitude, and the gantry milling machine processing characteristics and overall design of the structural characteristics of machine tools, assembly of the beam is proposed to note some issues and some ways to solve the assembly size requirements, through finite element analysis of the deformation and comparing the actual measured value, the experiment proved data on-site assembly solution with a good theoretical support.

Aircraft tow-tractor is one of the absolutely necessary ground support equipments (GSE) in the airport. The chassis is the framework on which the body and working parts of the tow-tractor, what plays a significant role in a entire vehicle design. The endurance and rigidity of the chassis have a direct influence on the reliability and practicability. In this paper, a simplified model is established for the carriage of aircraft towbarless tractor on the three-dimensional modeling platform--Proe5.0, and then mechanical finite element analysis are proceeding by Ansys12.0. The results show that the chassis model is of a appropriate structure and the design coincides with actual requirements, the Stress Concentration at the joint between carriage and wheel-grip mechanism has been reduced substantially. All trial results have laid a foundation for future design of the entire tractor.
