In this paper, the influence of catalytic on the extinguishing effect of inorganic salt fire extinguishant has been studied. Results of TG test and burning test indicated that catalytic synergist ammonium tungstate and sodium tungstate can effectively increase the fire extinguishing effect of the inorganic salt fire extinguishant, and sodium tungstate has a better catalytic synergistic effect than ammonium tungstate.

An inorganic salt complex which had a strong ability to generate lot of inert gases rapidly in a fire was prepared. Fire extinguishing agent added with sodium tungstate as a synergist had a great performance in gas release. Flammable gas and oxygen in fire could be diluted by Carbon dioxide and ammonium which released from the heating of inorganic salt complex.

Hardwood or leafless softwood cuttings of <i>Salix viminalis gallica</i> (hort.) or <i>S. daphnoides acutifolia</i> Will, were soaked in water or separately in IAA, IBA, NaCl, KCl, NaNO3, KNO3, and sucrose solution or in sequence with one of the auxins, or CEPA. The inorganic salt treatments (KCl, KNO3, NaNO3) stimulated rooting of cuttings to the same degree as auxin, while sucrose and NaCl with IAA resulted in high stimulation of rooting, but with IBA no synergistic effect was observed in the other willow species. CEPA induced the largest increase of root number per cutting, stimulated significantly subsequent root growth and also reduced significantly the rooting period.

The authors' methodic for assessing the role of chemical and physic-chemical factors during the structure formation of gypsum stone is presented in the article. The methodic is also makes it possible to reveal the synergistic effect and to determine the ranges of variation of controls factors that ensure maximum values of such effect. The effect of a micro-sized modifier based on zinc hydro-silicates on the structure formation of building gypsum is analyzed and corresponding dependencies are found. It is shown that effects of influence of modifier on the properties of gypsum compositions are determined by chemical properties of modifier. Among the mentioned properties are sorption characteristics (which depend on the amount of silicic acid and its state) and physicochemical properties - the ability to act as a substrate during crystal formation. The proposed method can also be extended to other binding substances and materials. This article contributes to the understanding of the processes that occur during the structure formation of composites, which will make it possible to control the structure formation in the future, obtaining materials with a given set of properties.
