This paper deals with solution to building tower crane fleet wireless communication system. Feasibility of a system based on ZigBee module is analyzed. By researching transmitting mechanism of ZigBee module and analyzing interference factors during the transmission period,experiments are designed to test data transmission and anti-interference performance, on the condition of simulating on-site environment. Experiment results show that the wireless communication system based on ZigBee module is feasible and the data transmission is reliable.

To ensure the efficiency and safety of the construction, it needs to monitor the real-time work status of single tower crane and between each other. This paper briefly described the basic application of RFID technology. Then it applied RFID technology to the anti-collision system between two tower cranes and wireless communication system of the tower cranes group. As the important part of the perception layer of the Internet of Things, the application of RFID technology in wireless communication system of tower cranes group could improve the efficiency of the construction. It also ensured the safety of the construction. Finally, it built the monitoring system platform of the construction machinery group based on Internet of Things technology.

<span>In the future generation of the wireless communication system, the utilization of bandwidth needs to be managed efficiently. Due to that, research on enhancing the efficiency of the bandwidth has recently attracted numerous interests focusing more on the non-orthogonal waveform generation and detection. Even though non-orthogonal waveform is promising a higher efficiency, it introduces inter-carrier interference (ICI) at the transmitter due to the subcarrier overlapping.  In this paper, the signaling technique for non-orthogonal waveform generation and detection is discussed. This paper also proposed the use of accumulator (ACC) to improve the system performance of the signal modulation in the non-orthogonal waveform for the next generation of the wireless communication system. The result is represented in an EXtrinsic Information Transfer (EXIT) chart to show the effects of adding ACC into the non-orthogonal system.</span>
