Objectives: The aim of this report which contains three case series is to describe the radiographic characteristic of dentigerous cyst using CBCT. Case Report: In the case presented here, all of the three patients had dentigerous cyst developing in impacted tooth, but did not have the same symptoms. CBCT radiography examination was carried out to find out the margin of the cortical extension, the diameter of the lesion, and the relations between the lesion and adjacent structures. The result of CBCT examination shows there is a variation of radiograph characteristics of dentigerous cyst among the three patients. Conclusion: CBCT is a very useful complementary tool for diagnosis and surgical planning in cases of dentigerous cyst, because three-dimensional viewing of the structures offers greater accuracy in lesion identification.

Impacted tooth is frequently encountered in dental practice. But the impacted tooth associated with supernu­merary tooth and dentigerous cyst in anterior region is very rare case. The present case reports the successful management of impacted right central incisor with multiple odontome and dentigerous cyst by surgical inter­vention and orthodontic extrusion. Close eruption technique was applied after enucleation of cyst and extrac­tion of odontome. Thirty grams traction force was applied after bonding in the labial surface of impacted tooth. Subsequently fixed orthodontic technique was applied to get impacted central incisor into occlusion.

The aim of this case report is to present an innovative combined orthodontic-surgical technique to disimpact mandibular second molar (MM2) using an orthodontic miniscrew and an elastic chain. The impact on the Oral health-related quality of life (OHRQoL) was also evaluated. Using the present techinique, it is possible to expose the impacted tooth, insert a self-drilling miniscrew in the retromolar area, and remove the bud of third mandibular molar. At the same time the orthodontic force is applied with the use of an elastomeric chain that connects the head of miniscrew and vestibular and oral buttons bonded on MM2. A close traction is performed for the whole treatment time without the reactivation of the elastic force. The use of skeletal anchorage allowed the disimpaction of impacted MM2 in a short treatment time (about three months) avoiding the typical biomechanical side effects of traditional orthodontic appliance and increasing the effectiveness of the treatment. Further studies are necessary to evaluate the real advantages and disadvantages of this combined orthodontic-surgical approach.

Introduction: The objective of this clinical case report is to describe the presence of bilateral fourth molars. The occurrence of supernumerary teeth (ST) is a relatively unusual dental anomaly., It is even more unusual to find patients with distomolar teeth also denominated fourth molar teeth. Presentation of the case: This article describes a clinical case of a 24-year-old patient presenting with a maxillary fourth molar, who was diagnosed by dental x-ray, and surgical resolution of the case. Conclusion: Tooth extraction surgery was the clinical procedure chosen to treat the impacted tooth.

In recent years, the skeletal anchorage through miniscrews has expanded the treatment options in orthodontics (Yamaguchi et al., 2012). We hereby present a modified method for tooth extrusion for cases where crown-lengthening surgery is contraindicated for aesthetic reasons. This modified method uses three orthodontic appliances: a mini-implant, an orthodontic wire, and a bracket. The aim of this case report was to increase the length of the clinical crown of a fractured tooth (tooth 23) by means of an orthodontic extrusion with the modified method of Roth and Diedrich.

This article describes the management of a case of oblique crown root fracture of a central incisor where the fractured fragment was used as a temporary replacement crown in order to maintain esthetics during the period of orthodontic extrusion of the remaining root. Placement of the final restoration after orthodontic extrusion resulted in good esthetics and periodontal health postoperatively. The merits and demerits of this treatment modality are discussed.
