Sound quality evaluation has turned into a standard idea in the structure in the field of vehicle acoustic performance optimization in an endeavor to determine the issue active noise control (ANC) techniques were created where auxiliary sources were proposed to lessen the noise inside the cabin. Therefore an endeavor has been made in this paper to audit the advancements so far did in the field of optimization thinks about on decrease of noise in the truck cabins by using acoustic materials. In light of this, it is to investigate the possibility of acoustic materials as aluminum and steel metals an option with plan to improve the cabin noise by NVH analysis can be carried out by using Ansys and Hypermesh software’s. By finding the analysis values of frequency, sound and weighted sound can be concluded the acoustic materials are good for quieter applications.

The reduction of the Vehicle interior noise has been the main interest of NVH engineers. The driver’s perception on the vehicle noise is affected largely by psychoacoustic characteristic of the noise as well as the SPL. In particular, the HVAC sound among the vehicle interior noise has been reflected sensitively in the side of psychology. In previous study, we have developed to verify identification of source for the vehicle HVAC system through multiple-dimensional spectral analysis. Also we carried out objective assessments on the vehicle HVAC noises and subjective assessments have been already performed with 30 subjects. In this study, the linear regression models were obtained for the subjective evaluation and the sound quality metrics. The regression procedure also allows you to produce diagnostic statistics to evaluate the regression estimates including appropriation and accuracy. Appropriation of regression model is necessary to R2 value and F-value. And testing for regression model is necessary to Independence, Homoscedesticity and Normality. To enhance sound quality, we applied active noise control (ANC) which is effective in the low-frequency bandwidth. Primary noise of the HVAC system is less than 500Hz. As a result of ANC application, sound quality is improved by more quiet, powerful, expensive, smooth.

With the advancement of digital signal processing technologies, consumers are more concerned with the quality of multimedia entertainment in automobiles. In order to meet this demand, an audio enhancement system is needed to improve bass reproduction and cancel engine noise in the cabins. This paper presents an integrated active noise control system that is based on frequency-sampling filters to track and extract the bass information from the audio signal, and a multifrequency active noise equalizer to tune the low-frequency engine harmonics to enhance the bass reproduction. In the noise cancellation mode, a maximum of 3 dB bass enhancement can be achieved with significant noise suppression, while higher bass enhancement can be achieved in the bass enhance mode. The results show that the proposed system is effective for solving both the bass audio reproduction and the noise control problems in automobile cabins.

Loudness which is one of the psycho-acoustic metrics is an important parameter in the model of sound quality objective evaluation. In this paper, based on two standards, two computational procedures of loudness were programmed and verified respectively, and these verified results showed that the two computational procedures are stable and reliable. Based on these characteristics of specific loudness curve, control strategy which selectively attenuates the peak values of specific loudness is proposed to solve the problem of active noise control inside vehicle. A computer simulation with this strategy is conducted and the changes of specific loudness and loudness before and after active noise control are analyzed. The results indicate that it is significant to reduce the peak values of specific loudness by using this control strategy, and then the reduction in loudness of noise is up to 1.5 sones.
