The role of the current business competition in addition to the strategic competition, adjust the marketing model that focuses on reaching the customer exactly. One thing that is no less important than having a concept and adaptation that requires high market flexibility is the business management process. Starting from the process of receiving raw materials to get into the production process, send to the warehouse department to store the products systematically, including deliver the products to consumers promptly. For this reason, many companies around the world have adopted a warehouse management system for predicting, forecasting and checking the status of the products any time. It causes more efficient in internal business process management. At the same time, the type and size of the business cannot apply the same warehouse management system. With different type, size and form of operation process, many companies have an investment situation with an inefficient use of an information system in the organization. It is a wrong decision in applying various systems without considering the related factors. For the study and development of inventory management systems for frozen food business in Thailand, since there are many businesses facing problems of error checking product process, affecting other processes such as raw material forecasting for production, etc. In addition, they are small and medium-sized businesses which their working process managed by the business owner with not many employees. Investment in the use of information systems is therefore a risk in investing and adjusting the form of operations. The result of this research is to analysis the problem and to summarize the requirements for the development of inventory management systems in frozen food business in Thailand in order to respond to the operation process systematically.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to establish the effect of warehouse management systems on supply chain performance of fast-moving consumer goods manufacturers in Kenya Methodology: The study adopted descriptive research design. The unit of observation was the operations manager of the 51 FMCG manufacturers located in Nairobi. The sampling frame of the current study consisted of operations managers in the manufacturers of the FMCGs in Nairobi. The study used the census method to select 51 manufacturers of the FMCGs in Nairobi, thus the sample of the study was 51 respondents. Primary data was used in the study. The study used questionnaires to collect data. Mixed methods technique of analyzing data was used where both descriptive and inferential analysis were used. The data collected from the field was analyzed using SPSS 23 program. The questionnaires were referenced and the items in them coded for easier data entry. The presentation of the findings was done using tables. Results: The study found that warehouse management systems positively and significantly influences Supply chain performance of FMCG in Kenya. The study found that the respondents were in agreement that warehouse management system helps to reduce picking errors; warehouse management system facilities the maximum use of storage space; warehouse management system helps to optimize stock control; warehouse management system improves work productivity; and that warehouse management system guide workers through risk assessments and flag up warehouse safety requirements. Unique contribution to theory, practice and policy: The study recommended that when warehouse management systems are improved, supply chain performance of the company improves as well. The study recommends management of the company to ensure they remain informed on the changes in the market to ensure that their warehouse management system is up-to-date and therefore avoid process redundancy and inaccurate inventories. There is a need to use strategic approach in practices of managing logistics by embracing modernized technology and training of employees on the use of the same.

Warehouse management is an extremely elementary and important part of logistics management, its effect would affect the cost of logistics immediately, and thereby it would influence an enterprise’s operation performance as a whole. Taking advantage of information technology to realize warehouse management could increase managing efficiency and record precision and improve economic performance.The article concludes all kinds of functional requirements in warehouse management, like inquiry and retrieval, and then abstract out the general pattern of warehouse management systems and design the system.

With the continuous development of retail and logistics, enterprise inventory management has become more and more complex, the traditional management mode can't meet the requirements of modern enterprise inventory management. In the environment of Internet of things, a kind of intelligent warehouse management system based on NFC is studied, which can realize the real time intelligent management of logistics. This paper design the NFC tags to store the warehouse information, freight car information, superior management order, etc., and read it by a smart android mobile terminal which support NFC, then through the communication network to transmit data information, to achieve NFC tag registration, data acquisition, content input, real-time data upload by scanning card, record management, query statistics and analysis report, which is an intelligent warehouse management system. It meets the requirements of modern logistics management, create more economic benefits for the enterprise, and has great realistic significance to promote the economic development of the logistics industry.
