Theoretical basis, application, reliability, and sample size estimates of a Meridian Energy Analysis Device for Traditional Chinese Medicine Research

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that the etiology and pathogenesis of renal fibrosis are characterized by deficiency of the lung, spleen and kidney, and phlegm, blood stasis, dampness and poison. The positive and the evil can influence each other and cause and effect each other, forming the pathological characteristics of the deficiency, the deficiency, the deficiency and the reality. Chinese medicine treatment of the disease has its unique advantages, external and internal injury equal emphasis, correction and dispelling evil and regulation. This article provides an update on new development of China Bioanalysis Forum (CBF). CBF became a member association of Chinese Pharmaceutical Association (CPA) at the end of 2019. The official ceremony and first scientific symposium were held in Shanghai on 18 September 2020. The president of Chinese Pharmaceutical Association and representatives from industry, Contract Research Organization (CRO), hospitals and academic institutes attended the ceremony. Seven experts in the field gave presentations on various topics including Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) and bioanalytical support in drug discovery and development as well as experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine research. With the continuous growth of research and development in China, it is well acknowledged that bioanalysis provides critical support for new innovative medicines and generic drug development in the region.

Human diseases, especially infectious ones, have been evolving constantly. However, their treatment strategies are not developing quickly. Some diseases are caused by a variety of factors with very complex pathologies, and the use of a single drug cannot solve these problems. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) medication is a unique treatment method in China. TCM formulae contain multiple herbs with multitarget, multichannel, and multilink characteristics. In recent years, with the flourishing development of network pharmacology, a new method for searching therapeutic drugs has emerged. The multitarget action in network pharmacology is consistent with the complex mechanisms of disease and drug action. Using network pharmacology to understand TCM is an emerging trend.
