The concept of graph coloring has become a very active field of research that enhances many practical applications and theoretical challenges. Various methods have been applied in carrying out this study. Let G be a finite group. In this paper, we introduce a new graph of groups, which is a commuting order product prime graph of finite groups as a graph having the elements of G as its vertices and two vertices are adjacent if and only if they commute and the product of their order is a prime power. This is an extension of the study for order product prime graph of finite groups. The graph's general presentations on dihedral groups, generalized quaternion groups, quasi-dihedral groups, and cyclic groups have been obtained in this paper. Moreover, the commuting order product prime graph on these groups has been classified as connected, complete, regular, or planar. These results are used in studying various and recently introduced chromatic numbers of graphs.

A tubular group G is a finite graph of groups with ℤ2 vertex groups and ℤ edge groups. We characterize residually finite tubular groups: G is residually finite if and only if its edge groups are separable. Methods are provided to determine if G is residually finite. When G has a single vertex group an algorithm is given to determine residual finiteness.

Suppose $p$ and $q$ are odd prime numbers. In this paper, the connected Cayley graph of groups of order $3pq$, for primes $p$ and $q$, are investigated and all connected normal $\frac{1}{2}-$arc-transitive Cayley graphs of group of these orders will be classified.

In this paper, we study the quotient and “blow-up” of graph-of-groups [Formula: see text] and of their automorphisms [Formula: see text]. We show that the existence of such a blow-up of any [Formula: see text], relative to a given family of “local” graph-of-groups isomorphisms [Formula: see text] depends crucially on the [Formula: see text]-conjugacy class of the correction term [Formula: see text] for any edge [Formula: see text] of [Formula: see text], where [Formula: see text]-conjugacy is a new but natural concept introduced here. As an application, we obtain a criterion as to whether a partial Dehn twist can be blown up relative to local Dehn twists, to give an actual Dehn twist. The results of this paper are also used crucially in the follow-up papers [Lustig and Ye, Normal form and parabolic dynamics for quadratically growing automorphisms of free groups, arXiv:1705.04110v2; Ye, Partial Dehn twists of free groups relative to local Dehn twists — A dichotomy, arXiv:1605.04479 ; When is a polynomially growing automorphism of [Formula: see text] geometric, arXiv:1605.07390 ].

An independent set of a graph is a set of pairwise non-adjacent vertices. The independence polynomial of a graph is defined as a polynomial in which the coefficient is the number of the independent set in the graph.  Meanwhile, a graph of a group G is called conjugate graph if the vertices are non-central elements of G and two distinct vertices are adjacent if they are conjugate. The noncommuting graph is defined as a graph whose vertex set is non-central elements in which two vertices are adjacent if and only if they do not commute. In this research, the independence polynomial of the conjugate graph and noncommuting graph are found for three nonabelian groups of order at most eight.

In this paper we determine the homology and the cohomology groups of two properly discontinuous groups of isometries of the hyperbolic plane having non-compact orbit spaces and the fundamental group of a graph of groups with a finite vertex groups and no trivial edges by extending Lyndon’s partial free resolution for finitely presented groups. For the first two groups, we obtain partial extensions and the corresponding homology. We also compute the corresponding cohomology groups for one of these groups. Finally we obtain homology and cohomology in all dimensions for the last of the above mentioned groups by constructing a full resolution for this group.GANIT J. Bangladesh Math. AbstractWe identify when a tubular group (the fundamental group of a ûnite graph of groups with ℤ2 vertex and ℤ edge groups) is free by cyclic and show, using Wise’s equitable sets criterion, that every tubular free by cyclic group acts freely on a CAT(0) cube complex.

The aim of this work is to give a definition of the incidence matrices of the directed graph of groups, construct an up-down pregroup of the incidence matrices of the directed graph of groups and then give an algorithm for the up-down pregroup of the directed graph of groups.
