This paper deals with a new subclass of univalent function associated with the right half of the lemniscate of Bernoulli. We have find the upper bound of the Hankel determinant H3(1) for this subclass by applying the Carlson–Shaffer operator to it. The present work also deals with certain properties of this newly defined subclass, such as the upper bound of the Hankel determinant of order 3, the co-efficient estimate, etc.

In this paper, we investigate a normalized analytic (symmetric under rotation) function, f, in an open unit disk that satisfies the condition ℜfzgz>0, for some analytic function, g, with ℜz+1−2nzgz>0,∀n∈N. We calculate the radius constants for different classes of analytic functions, including, for example, for the class of star-like functions connected with the exponential functions, i.e., the lemniscate of Bernoulli, the sine function, cardioid functions, the sine hyperbolic inverse function, the Nephroid function, cosine function and parabolic star-like functions. The results obtained are sharp.

This article comprises the study of differential subordination with analogue of q -derivative. It includes the sufficient condition on γ for 1 + γ ∂ z q h z / h n z to be subordinated by 1 + A z / 1 + B z , − 1 ≤ B < A ≤ 1 , and implies that h z ≺ 1 + z , where h z is the analytic function in the open unit disk. Moreover, certain sufficient conditions for q -starlikeness of analytic functions related with lemniscate of Bernoulli are determined.

AbstractWe consider three classes of functions defined using the class $${\mathcal {P}}$$ P of all analytic functions $$p(z)=1+cz+\cdots $$ p ( z ) = 1 + c z + ⋯ on the open unit disk having positive real part and study several radius problems for these classes. The first class consists of all normalized analytic functions f with $$f/g\in {\mathcal {P}}$$ f / g ∈ P and $$g/(zp)\in {\mathcal {P}}$$ g / ( z p ) ∈ P for some normalized analytic function g and $$p\in {\mathcal {P}}$$ p ∈ P . The second class is defined by replacing the condition $$f/g\in {\mathcal {P}}$$ f / g ∈ P by $$|(f/g)-1|<1$$ | ( f / g ) - 1 | < 1 while the other class consists of normalized analytic functions f with $$f/(zp)\in {\mathcal {P}}$$ f / ( z p ) ∈ P for some $$p\in {\mathcal {P}}$$ p ∈ P . We have determined radii so that the functions in these classes to belong to various subclasses of starlike functions. These subclasses includes the classes of starlike functions of order $$\alpha $$ α , parabolic starlike functions, as well as the classes of starlike functions associated with lemniscate of Bernoulli, reverse lemniscate, sine function, a rational function, cardioid, lune, nephroid and modified sigmoid function.

Using differential subordination, we consider conditions of β so that some multivalent analytic functions are subordinate to (1+z)γ (0<γ≤1). Notably, these results are applied to derive sufficient conditions for f∈A to satisfy the condition zf′(z)f(z)2−1<1. Several previous results are extended.

This article deals with the q -differential subordinations for starlike functions associated with the lemniscate of Bernoulli and cardioid domain. The primary goal of this work is to find the conditions on γ for 1 + γ z ∂ q   h z / h n   z   ≺ 1 + z , where h z is analytic function and is subordinated by the function which is producing cardioid domain as its image domain while mapping the open unit disk. Along with this, certain sufficient conditions for q -starlikeness of analytic functions are determined.

Abstract This paper studies analytic functions f defined on the open unit disk of the complex plane for which f/g and (1 + z)g/z are both functions with positive real part for some analytic function g. We determine radius constants of these functions to belong to classes of strong starlike functions, starlike functions of order α, parabolic starlike functions, as well as to the classes of starlike functions associated with lemniscate of Bernoulli, cardioid, lune, reverse lemniscate, sine function, exponential function and a particular rational function. The results obtained are sharp.

Making use of the principle of subordination, we introduce a certain class of multivalently Bazilevi c ˘ functions involving the Lemniscate of Bernoulli. Also, we obtain subordination properties, inclusion relationship, convolution result, coefficients estimate, and Fekete–Szegö problem for this class.

AbstractIn this paper, we use the novel idea of incorporating the recently derived formula for the fourth coefficient of Carathéodory functions, in place of the routine triangle inequality to achieve the sharp bounds of the Hankel determinants H3(1) and H2(3) for the well known class 𝓢𝓛* of starlike functions associated with the right lemniscate of Bernoulli. Apart from that the sharp bound of the Zalcman functional: $\begin{array}{} |a_3^2-a_5| \end{array}$ for the class 𝓢𝓛* is also estimated. Further, a couple of interesting results of 𝓢𝓛* are also discussed.
