Cipayung Village is an area of the Final Disposal Site (FDS) of Depok City. With the FDS, it will automatically have an impact on the surrounding community, coupled with the daily pattern of people who are accustomed to using plastic materials such as shopping containers. This results in more plastic waste in Cipayung Village. This problem requires real action that can make people aware to reduce plastic waste. The plastic diet is a campaign to the community in RT RW Cipayung Village which aims to increase public awareness of the dangers of plastic waste. This activity was carried out by distributing leaflets, reusable shopping bags, and educating the public. The results obtained from this activity are an increase in public knowledge about the dangers of plastic waste and a change in the habit of using plastic bags into shopping bags that can be used repeatedly. This behavior change significantly reduces the use of plastic bags in Cipayung Village. It is hoped that this activity will not only be carried out in one RT but can be carried out in other locations.

This analysis will primarily focus on the number of collisions before and after NYC adopting Vision Zero. In this analysis, the statistical model of K-S testing will be used to compare the two periods; before and after the adoption of Vision Zero. The study will include a time series of the effectiveness of Vision Zero using the data; based on the cumulative number of accidents. The cumulative number and daily pattern of the collisions will measure probabilities of effectiveness.

The novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) impacted daily life for residents of the majority of countries worldwide. In this this research note, we explore how the pandemic is changing religious-oriented shopping with a focus on Muslim shopping. While supermarkets provided online shopping and home delivery services, Islamic store, as small business, could not opt for such services in Belgium and many other countries. Therefore, we designed and conducted a consumer survey with a special target of Muslim shoppers between April 27 and May 6 2020 in all Belgium regions. We found that despite stay-at-home directives that is effective since early March 2020, Muslims are still leaving their homes to buy Islamic groceries “Halal”. Most importantly, the daily pattern of shopping has significantly been changed, which helped in reducing the density of shoppers in the stores.
