Objective: The purpose of this study was to compare the preoperative and postoperative outcomes of surgical treatment for patients who fail to conserve the complete rupture of the collateral ligament in the proximal interphalangeal (PIP) joint. Methods: A complete rupture of the collateral ligament was confirmed by a radiologist using ultrasound or magnetic resonance imaging for patients who had symptoms after 4 weeks of conservative treatment. Eleven patients underwent operative collateral ligament repair using an anchor. All patient was followed up for at least 6 months postoperatively. We evaluated clinical outcomes preoperatively and at 6 months follow-up: (1) range of motion of the PIP, (2) joint stability, (3) Visual Analog Scale score, (4) fusiform index of the PIP joint, and (5) functional & cosmetic satisfaction. Results: There was no instability in the lateral stress test at 6-month follow-up. The ranges of motion of the PIP were not statistically different between preoperative and at 6-month follow-up. Patients had less pain but the cosmetic appearance of the PIP joint did not improve. Functional satisfaction differed statistically, but there was no difference in cosmetic satisfaction. Conclusion: Surgical treatment for patients who fail to conserve the complete rupture of the collateral ligament in the PIP joint can provide good joint stability, functional recovery.

Objective. This study uses statistics to analyze the diagnostic significance of ultrasonic exploration for rotator cuff injuries. Methods. For this study, 50 patients with rotator cuff injury or shoulder impingement syndrome admitted to the hospital from September 2017 to January 2019 were selected as the targets of this discussion. The general clinical materials of the patients were retrospectively analyzed, and ultrasound was performed for them. The results of the examination and arthroscopy are compared with the final pathological results. Results. The diagnostic sensitivity of ultrasound in the diagnosis of partial rupture and complete rupture of the supraspinatus tendon was 100%, and the specificity was 55.55%. The diagnostic sensitivity of partial rupture and complete rupture of the subscapular tendon was 100%, and the specificity was 42.8%; there was no significant difference compared with the joint mirror examination, and there was no statistical significance. Conclusion. The thesis adopts ultrasound exploration for patients with rotator cuff injuries with high diagnostic sensitivity. It is a reliable and effective clinical diagnosis method, which is worthy of clinical application and promotion.

The author points out the absence in some cases of rupture of the uterus of such seizures, which are usually considered cardinal. In his case, in the second-bearing, 37 years old, (the first birth was 10 years ago), urgent labor proceeded with mild pains, the forward movement of the presenting part (head) went quite quickly and easily; the ring of contraction was not expressed.

Winter showed a postpartum uterus with a complete rupture in its lower segment. The rupture passed very obliquely through the anterior wall of the uterus and extended from the ring of contraction almost to the external uterine pharynx. The peritoneum was separated above the gap to the line of tight attachment in such a way that a connection with the abdominal cavity 10 cm long was formed. When opened: the uterus was lying in a strong bend forward; bowel loops and the anterior abdominal wall delimited the rupture site from the abdominal cavity; all intestines were very red and covered with a light coating; in the abdominal cavity there were about one to one and a half liters of liquid and coagulated blood.
