In Germany, the preparations for the 24th Congress for Applied Psychology are underway and a German-language translation of the EFPA guidelines for psychologists who contribute to the media has been prepared in collaboration with colleagues from Austria and Switzerland. Russian and Slovenian psychologists report on a number of recent conferences and events. The Spanish Psychological Association reports on its involvements in policymaking and the organization of a joint conference with the Portuguese association. In Switzerland, the Swiss Psychological Professions Act (PsyG) regulating practice in the psychological profession has come into effect. In the UK, the British Psychological Society has issued several new guidelines and joined the debate on DSM-V.
