Here we study the character and expression of n-order Pythagorean matrix using number theory. Theories of Pythagorean matrix are obtained. Using related algebra skills, we prove that the set which constitutes all n-order Pythagorean matrices is a finitely generated group of matrix multiplication and gives a generated tuple of this finitely generated group (n≤10) simultaneously.

Types are one of the cornerstones of contemporary model theory. Simply put, a type is the collection of formulas satisfied by an element of some elementary extension. The types can be organised in an algebraic structure known as a Lindenbaum algebra. But the contemporary study of types also treats them as the points of a certain kind of topological space. These spaces, called ‘Stone spaces’, illustrate the richness of moving back-and-forth between algebraic and topological perspectives. Further, one of the most central notions of contemporary model theory—namely stability—is simply a constraint on the cardinality of these spaces. We close the chapter by discussing a related algebra-topology ‘duality’ from metaphysics, concerning whether to treat propositions as sets of possible worlds or vice-versa. We show that suitable regimentations of these two rival metaphysical approaches are biinterpretable (in the sense of chapter 5), and discuss the philosophical significance of this rapprochement.

AbstractWe reformulate the Gauss’ law of error in presence of correlations which are taken into account by means of a deformed product arising in the framework of the Sharma-Taneja-Mittal measure. Having reviewed the main proprieties of the generalized product and its related algebra, we derive, according to the Maximum Likelihood Principle, a family of error distributions with an asymptotic power-law behavior.

This paper presents three main ideas. They are the Metatheorem, the lattice embedding for sets, and the lattice embedding for algebras. The Metatheorem allows you to convert existing theorems about classical subsets into corresponding theorem about fuzzy subsets. The concept of a fuzzyfiable operation on a powerset is defined. The main result states that any implication or identity which can be stated using fuzzyfiable operations is true about fuzzy subsets if and only if it is true about classical subsets. The lattice embedding theorem for sets shows that for any set X, there is a set Y such that the lattice of fuzzy subsets of X is isomorphic to a sublattice of the classical subsets of Y. In fact it is further proved that if X is infinite, then we can choose Y = X and get the surprising result that the lattice of fuzzy subsets of X is isomorphic to a sublattice of the classical subsets of X itself. The idea is illustrated with an example explicitly showing how the lattice of fuzzy subsets of the closed unit interval 𝕀 = [0,1] embeds into the lattice of classical subsets of 𝕀. The lattice embedding theorem for algebras shows that under certain circumstances the lattice of fuzzy subalgebras of an algebra A embeds into the lattice of classical subalgebras of a closely related algebra A′. The following sample use of this embeding theorem is given. It is a well known fact that the lattice of normal subgroups of a group is a modular lattice. The embeding theorem is used here to conclude that lattice of fuzzy normal subgroups of a group is a modular lattice too.

The main object of study in this paper is the quantized Weyl algebra which arises from the work of Maltsiniotis [10] on noncommutative differential calculus. This algebra has been studied from the point of view of noncommutative ring theory by various authors including Alev and Dumas [1], the second author [9], Cauchon [3], and Goodearl and Lenagan [5]. In [9], it is shown that has n normal elements zi and, subject to a condition on the parameters, the localization obtained on inverting these elements is simple of Krull and global dimension n. It is easy to show that each of these normal elements generates a height one prime ideal and that these are all the height one prime ideals of . The purpose of this paper is to determine, under a stronger condition on the parameters, all the prime ideals of and to compare the prime spectrum with that of a related algebra . This algebra has more symmetric defining relations than those of but it shares the same simple localization which again is obtained by inverting n normal elements zi. Like the alternative algebra can be regarded as an algebra of skew differential (or difference) operators on the coordinate ring of quantum n-space.
