This article explores the ways in which gender inequalities are reproduced and reinforced within entertainment establishments, and in turn the ways in which it affects health of the women working in these establishments. Specifically, this article is based on 35 in-depth interviews with women working in entertainment establishments in Kathmandu, Nepal. The findings highlight daily encounters of harassment by customers demanding engagement and acceptance of various sexual advances; strategies of exploitation by employers such as threatening the loss of work and/or salary to coerce the women into engaging in sexual talks and innuendoes to increase sales for the business; and an adverse impact on the physical, emotional, and psychological health of women working in the entertainment establishment. The findings urge us to locate the discussion of health, particularly health of marginalized women, within the context of gender inequalities, labor divisions, and power relations.

Abstract Purpose of the study. To investigate and analyze the prevalence of alcohol and low alcohol drinking among adolescents and to propose preventive measures to prevent this phenomenon. Materials and methods. Used bibliographical, sociological and medical-statistical methods of research. The annual report of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine for 2019 and statistics of sociological surveys served as research materials. Results. The study found that more than 90% of 15–17 year-old students have alcohol, nearly 60% of teens have been repeatedly intoxicated. The most common alcoholic beverages used by 15–17 year-old students recently are beer (57,3%) for boys, and girls – industrial beverages (43,7%). Almost 40% of wine has been consumed recently, champagne and spirits more than a fifth of boys and girls (21,8% and 22,4% respectively). The most common alcoholic beverage consumed by 15–17 year old student youth in any entertainment establishment is beer − it is consumed by 45,4% of boys and 30,9% of girls. Low in alcoholic beverages of industrial production are second in popularity – 28,8% of boys and 35,9% of girls consumed them. Conclusion. Thus, the overall tendency for adolescent alcohol and low alcohol consumption to be prevalent is disappointing. The main factors that have a negative impact on the situation are: tolerant attitude of the family to adolescent alcohol, cultural traditions of communication in the company, insufficiently formed outlook of a young person to understand a healthy lifestyle. Keywords: teens, student youth, alcoholic beverages, energy drinks, beer.

Automated Teller Machine (ATM’s) are devices used for the personal and business financial transactions or banking functions. It can be used without the help of the banking official. The ATM’s have become popular among the public for their availability and the user friendliness. Nowadays ATMs are available in many locations such as college, supermarket, gas station, banking center, airport, work location, hotels, and entertainment establishment, having a consistent high volume of user traffic. The existing ATM machine uses the ATM cards for the user access to authenticate their account in order to use the services of the ATM. There are several problems which includes card expiring, cost of maintenance, accessing customer account by others, waiting time before the issuance of the new card, card damaging, card cloning, shoulder surfing attack, skimming attack, eavesdropping attack, guessing attack. This paper presents the prototype for the card-less electronic Automated Teller Machine without the use of the card. The proposed system uses the face recognizer using the HAAR algorithm. Using the help IoT the unauthorized users could be tracked and if there is any mismatch with the authorized users the mail and SMS could be send to the registered users.

Entertainment establishments generally have a high volume of visitors and must pay special attention to enhance fire prevention and safety. In the past 30 years, many cases of serious fires have occurred in entertainment establishments in Taiwan, causing numerous casualties and significant property losses. Examples include the fire incidents at the Welcome Restaurant in Taichung City (64 people were dead) and at the Lunch in Restaurant and the Mythology World KTV in Taipei City (33 people were dead). Consequently, fire protection engineering research for entertainment establishments is extremely important. In this study, a specific bar-type entertainment establishment located in Taichung in 2011 was used as the research subject (9 people were dead).Field model-based fire dynamics simulator (FDS) software was used to reconstruct a numerical model for conducting a case study of the fire scene. Changes in the heat transfer, smoke flow, upper layer temperature, and CO concentration were investigated. This study also verified the fire field the evacuation of people. It is hoped that the results can provide a useful reference for fireproofing or prevention projects in similar entertainment establishments.
