The main aim of this work is to introduce an implicit general iterative method for approximating a solution of a split variational inclusion problem with a hierarchical optimization problem constraint for a countable family of mappings, which are nonexpansive, in the setting of infinite dimensional Hilbert spaces. Convergence theorem of the sequences generated in our proposed implicit algorithm is obtained under some weak assumptions.

We introduce a unified general iterative method to approximate a fixed point ofk-strictly pseudononspreading mapping. Under some suitable conditions, we prove that the iterative sequence generated by the proposed method converges strongly to a fixed point of ak-strictly pseudononspreading mapping with an idea of mean convergence, which also solves a class of variational inequalities as an optimality condition for a minimization problem. The results presented in this paper may be viewed as a refinement and as important generalizations of the previously known results announced by many other authors.

We introduce a general algorithm to approximate common fixed points for a countable family of nonexpansive mappings in a real Banach space. We prove strong convergence theorems for the sequences produced by the methods and approximate a common fixed point of a countable family of nonexpansive mappings which solves uniquely the corresponding variational inequality. Furthermore, we apply our results for finding a zero of an accretive operator. It is important to state clearly that the contribution of this paper in relation with the previous works (Marino and Xu, 2006) is a technical method to prove strong convergence theorems of a general iterative algorithm for an infinite family of nonexpansive mappings in Banach spaces. Our results improve and generalize many known results in the current literature.

We propose an explicit iterative scheme for finding a common element of the set of fixed points of infinitely many strict pseudo-contractive mappings and the set of solutions of an equilibrium problem by the general iterative method, which solves the variational inequality. In the setting of real Hilbert spaces, strong convergence theorems are proved. The results presented in this paper improve and extend the corresponding results reported by some authors recently. Furthermore, two numerical examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of our iterative scheme.
