A refined asymptotics of the Jacobi theta functions and their logarithmic derivatives have been received. The asymptotics of the Nevanlinna characteristics of the indicated functions and the arbitrary elliptic function have been found. The estimation of the type of the Weierstrass sigma functions has been given.

Abstract The prevertices of the conformal map between a generic, n-vertex, simply connected, polycircular arc domain and the upper half plane are determined by finding the zeros of an isomonodromic tau function. The accessory parameters of the associated Fuchsian equation are then found in terms of logarithmic derivatives of this tau function. Using these theoretical results a constructive approach to the determination of the conformal map is given and the particular case of 5 vertices is considered in detail. A computer implementation of a construction of the isomonodromic tau function described by Gavrylenko & Lisovyy [Comm. Math. Phys., 363, 2018)] is used to calculate some illustrative examples. A procedural guide to constructing the conformal map to a given polycircular arc domain using the method presented here is also set out.

We established new sharp estimates outside exceptional sets for of the logarithmic derivatives $\frac{d^ {k} \log f(z)}{dz^k}$ and its generalization $\frac{f^{(k)}(z)}{f^{(j)}(z)}$, where $f$ is a meromorphic function $f$ in the upper half-plane, $k>j\ge0$ are integers. These estimates improve known estimates due to the second author in the class of meromorphic functions of finite order.Examples show that size of exceptional sets are best possible in some sense.

AbstractWe consider expansions of o-minimal structures on the real field by collections of restrictions to the positive real line of the canonical Weierstrass products associated with sequences such as $(-n^{s})_{n>0}$ (for $s>0$) and $(-s^{n})_{n>0}$ (for $s>1$), and also expansions by associated functions such as logarithmic derivatives. There are only three possible outcomes known so far: (i) the expansion is o-minimal (that is, definable sets have only finitely many connected components); (ii) every Borel subset of each $\mathbb{R}^{n}$ is definable; (iii) the expansion is interdefinable with a structure of the form $(\mathfrak{R}^{\prime },\unicode[STIX]{x1D6FC}^{\mathbb{Z}})$ where $\unicode[STIX]{x1D6FC}>1$, $\unicode[STIX]{x1D6FC}^{\mathbb{Z}}$ is the set of all integer powers of $\unicode[STIX]{x1D6FC}$, and $\mathfrak{R}^{\prime }$ is o-minimal and defines no irrational power functions.

Abstract We study Fredholm determinants of a class of integral operators, whose kernels can be expressed as double contour integrals of a special type. Such Fredholm determinants appear in various random matrix and statistical physics models. We show that the logarithmic derivatives of the Fredholm determinants are directly related to solutions of the Painlevé II hierarchy. This confirms and generalizes a recent conjecture by Le Doussal, Majumdar, and Schehr [20]. In addition, we obtain asymptotics at $\pm \infty $ for the Painlevé transcendents and large gap asymptotics for the corresponding point processes.
