This study aims to determine the perceptions of students as prospective teachers of Schoology in Computer Assisted Language Learning subjects.  Schoology is a web-based learning media commonly called the Learning Management System. Schoology is one of the free web platform in the form of social web and easy to use like Facebook. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method and approach with data collection methods in the form of interviews. The interviewer interviewed nine informants, sixth semester students in Computer Assisted Language Learning subjects with a Schoolgy discussion. Informants acted as instructors in their groups randomly selected. The results of the interview show that all informants already know the schoology and its features. Informants will also use schoology when they become teachers. The obstacle faced by 44% of students is when making material in the form of quizzes. They usually forget to arrange the quiz so the quiz does not appear on the student account. Another obstacle is to download the value and print it. But overall the students' perceptions of schoology in Assisted Language Learning courses are good. This research will be developed at the school level, Schoology in the view of teachers and students.

In the last decades, some extensive research explored new algorithms and protocols how to secure data or user information using password and username. There are new methods such as biometrics. The drawback of this method is that it needs other hardware or device. On the other hand, the username and password combination to authenticate user identity has been widely used because cheap and user-friendly. The latter method has some weakness such as dictionary attack, brute force or other method. The purpose of this research to find out the weakness of freshmen chosen password to protect their identity in the Academic Information System. The experiment is done in a public university in Indonesia. This research carried on around 12 faculties and 102 departments. The freshmen at this university is around 6499 students. The sampling method is population, so that all the freshmen student account investigated. The first scenario is to find out how many students use the same password as username. The second scenario is a dictionary attack on some freshmen account that cannot be found on the first scenario. The result of this experiment about 60% to 75% of freshmen’s password in each faculty can be guessed because the students used the same username and password. Other method used in this research has been revealed more password from freshmen.

The study is an online, computer aided tool that was designed primarily for the conduct of online examination. The system was created using PHP, a web based scripting language, and MySQL as the database software. The system focuses on the automation of students' examinations; preparation, scheduling, checking and grading. A database is provided for the storage of exam questions, answers to questions and students' records. The system allows instructors to create an exam by entering questions with its corresponding answers into the database. Instructors are provided with three options on the type of exam; these include, True or False, Multiple Choice and Fill in the Blanks. There are three account types based on the intended users. One is the Administrator Account; this can be used to create instructor accounts. It can also be used to delete or suspend other accounts based on activity status.  The Instructor Account allows teachers to create student accounts and enroll the same. This account can be used also to create, activate, edit, delete exams and monitor students' performances. The Student Account is for the officially enrolled students where they can take exams and view scores even from previous examinations. This software allows instructors to keep track of students' performances from all exams since the results will be stored in a database linked to an online system.  While taking the online exam, students can choose the number of exam questions that will be displayed on the screen at a given time.A student can take the exam only on the specified date and time set by the instructor. Ideally, a particular exam should be taken only once. In cases of retakes due to valid reasons and special exam considerations, the instructor is given the option to administer the previously activated exam, edit or create a new set of questions. One limitation though, this online system is not to be used to compute for the class performance for the final grade since this requires other components such as seat works, graded recitations, laboratory activities, etc. This only computes and shows the scores from previous exams and the average.
