Pemerolehan Bahasa Pertama pada Anak Usia 9 Tahun: Kajian Pemerolehan Fonologi dan Ujaran

<p>Bahasa adalah alat yang digunakan seseorang untuk berkomunikasi dengan orang lain dan bahasa pertama adalah bahasa yang diperoleh seseorang secara langsung mengikuti tahapan-tahapan pemerolehan dan perkembangannya. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pemerolehan bahasa pertama seoarang anak perempuan berusia 9 tahun yang bernama ASR Dilihat dari aspek pemerolehan fonologi dan ujaran. Pendekatan penelitian yaitu deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode simak dan catat. Teknik analisis data mengacu pada kajian analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ASR hanya memiliki 3 pola pemerolehan fonologi (Penggantian, Penghilangan dan Reduplikasi) dari kata benda, kata kerja, dan kata sifat. Selanjutya ujaran yang ia miliki baru pada tahap dua kata.</p><p>Kata kunci: pemerolehan, bahasa pertama, asr, fonologi, ujaran</p>

English Speaking Difficulties Encountered by The Islamic Boarding School Students Daarul Mughni Bogor

The research is to find out the students’ speaking difficulties encountered by Islamic Boarding School Daarul Mughni Bogor, Indonesia. The research objective identifies and describes the process result of the students’ observation, questionnaire, and interview related to linguistic factors, non-linguistic factors, and both causes. The subject of this research is the students as about 80 respondents with a descriptive analysis of qualitative research. The research methodology is considered to be appropriately applied for the study of linguistic analysis and a description of the data. The population of the research study is the 12th – grade students of Daarul Mughni Islamic Boarding School Bogor, Indonesia. The sample of the research study was chosen by using a simple random sample of 80 respondents of 292 students. Descriptive research is selected by the researcher because it deals with the phenomenon of the students’ speaking difficulties in a real-life situation that happened to the students while they are speaking English at school. The description of the questionnaire result explains about three aspects such as linguistic factors, non- linguistic factors, and the causes of speaking difficulties related to the environment, speaking difficulties related to English teaching, and curriculum design

Code Switching Used by Indonesian Celebrities in Social Media

<p class="NoList1">People who are capable of speaking and writing two languages well arecalled "bilingual", they commonly switch a language to another in their communication, that is code switching. This study focuses on analysing codeswitching used by Indonesian Celebrities in Social Media, using theory of code switching proposed by Romaine in Susanto (2008) and Hoffman (1992).The aims of this research are 1). to describe and analyzes the types of codeswitching and 2). To find the most dominant type of them in Social-Media. This study investigates code switching used in Social Media. The objectives of this study are to find out types and the most dominant type of code switching used by Indonesian Celebrities in Social Media. This study uses descriptive qualitative approach. The data are collected from the utterances of Maudy Ayunda and Boy William as Indonesian Celebrities which are analyzed by using Romaine in Susanto (2008) and Hoffman (1992) theory oncode switching. It is found that from three videos on social media, 20 data are found and classified into three types of code switching. There are 7 data of inter-sentential of code switching and 12 intra-sentential, and 1 of tag switching.</p><p> </p><p><em>Key words: sociolinguistics, code switching, Social-Media</em><strong></strong></p>
