China’s Consumers Have Different Purchase Motivations for International Enterprises and Chinese Enterprises

Many Chinese consumers believe the service attitude of salespeople is very important for consumers to buy a product. However, compare with many local China enterprises, many international enterprises do not seem to realise it. Which generals the question: are consumers’ motivations for purchasing from these two types of enterprises different? The paper describes using an international shopping mall (A) and a Chinese shopping mall (B) as examples. The researchers randomly distributed a questionnaire survey to 110 consumers and analysis questionnaire result via the stepwise regression model. The researchers found consumers purchase goods from international enterprises (A) because of gender, and consumers buy goods from Chinese enterprise (B) as their age and the service attitude of salespeople. This paper confirms that the service attitude of salespeople may not the advantage of international enterprises, but the drawback of the research does not consider consumers to have different purchase motives for different enterprises. In the conclusion, the researchers posit that future research should examine whether consumers’ purchase motivations affect international companies to make profit in the Chinese market

PENGARUH AKUNTANSI KEPERILAKUAN TERHADAP SISTEM KEUANGAN DESA

This study aims to analyze the effect of behavioral accounting on the implementation of thevillage financial system. This type of research is exsplanatory research. The data used areprimary data obtained from interviews and questionnaire result. The population in this studywere all village financial system operators in Gresik are 356 villages. the sample of 190 withthe yamane approach formula with using random sampling methode. The analysis tool usedis multiple regression. The Implementation of Class Action Research (CAR) by Japanese Language Teachers in Indonesia

This study aims to determine the implementation of Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted by Japanese language teachers in Indonesia at this time. A qualitative descriptive research method was used in this study to describe the questionnaire result from 193 participants in the first session of webinar, and 203 participants in the second session. Based on the results of the questionnaire, it was found that most of the participants had never done CAR at all or had never done CAR in a structured manner. Participants who have done CAR mostly use it for promotion and only a small number use it for teaching development. This research cannot represent the overall field conditions but is expected to provide an overview of the current CAR implementation by Japanese language teachers in Indonesia, and the development of teaching materials that can be developed through routine CAR.

PROGRAM AUTHORITATIVE PARENTING UNTUK MEREDUKSI PERILAKU DISTRUPTIF PADA ANAK

AbstrakArtikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi programauthoritative parenting kepada orang tua di SD X kota Cimahi. Pelaksanaan program authoritatif parenting dalam rentang waktu September 2020 s/d Oktober 2020. Kegiatan program ini terdiri dari tiga tahap, yaitu tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Tahap pelaksanaan dengan menggunakan teknik ceramah, diskusi, dan pendampingan serta tahap evaluasi. Berdasarkan hasil angket respon orang tua yang diberikan sebelum dan setelah diberikan program authoritative parenting menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan penggunaan authoritative parenting sebesar 57,3%. Sedangkan pada angket respon orang tua sebelum dan setelah diberikan materi mengenai perilaku distruptif pada anak menunjukkan adanya penurunan atau mereduksi perilaku distruptif pada anak sebesar 30%. Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan pengabdian ini cukup baik dan efektif. Abstract This article aims to describe the implementation of authoritative parenting training for parents at SD X of Cimahi. The authoritative parenting training held from September to October 2020. This training activity consists of three stages, namely the planning, implementation and evaluation stage. The implementation stage using lecture, discussion, and mentoring techniques. Based on questionnaire result on authoritative parenting given to parent before and after the training, it showed an increase in understanding and use of authoritative parenting by 57.3%. Whereas in the parents’ responses questionnaire on distracting behavior in children, it shows that there is a decrease or reduce distracting behavior in children by 30%. It can be concluded that authoritative parenting training given to parent is quite good and effective in reducing children disruptive behaviour.

EDUKASI DAN PENDAMPINGAN PRAKTIKUM FISIKA PADA SISWA SEKOLAH MENENGAH ATAS NEGERI 1 SURALAGA KECAMATAN SURALAGA

ABSTRAKFisika merupakan salah satu ilmu pengetahuan alam (IPA) yang tidak hanya memahami secara teori, namun dibutuhkan pemahaman secara praktis juga. Praktikum adalah salah satu cara untuk dapat memberikan pemahaman secara praktis kepada siswa. Tujuan kegiatan adalah memberikan edukasi dan pendampingan praktikum kepada siswa untuk meningkatkan pemahaman secara teoritis dan praktis melalui program pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM). Kegiatan edukasi dan pendampingan praktikum pada alat ukur fisika menggunakan mistar, jangka sorong, mikrometer sekrup dan multimeter.Siswa memiliki rasa kepuasan dan keterampilan yang tinggi ditunjukkan dengan persentase hasil kuesioner untuk kedua aspek yaitu keterampilan dan kepuasan diatas 50%. Melalui kegiatan edukasi dan pendampingan praktikum dapat meningkatkan keterampilan dan kemampuan siswa khususnya pada alat ukur fisika. ABSTRACTPhysics is one of natural sciences which is not only needed to understand theoretically, but it is needed practical comprehension. Lab work is a practical way giving comprehension to students. The aim of this study is providing education and assistance in lab work to students for increasing their theoretical and practical comprehension through dedication to community (PkM). In this study focuses on measuring tools of physiscs, such as ruler, calipers, screw micrometer, and multimeter. The students have great satisfaction and skill which have been showed with percentage of questionnaire result in the both aspects, more than fifty percents. Through education and assistance have been able to improve the students’ skill and ability, particularly in physics measuring tools. The Use of Video Project Assignment (VPA) To Enhance Students’ Achievement in Communicative English Subject

Speaking skills is a crucial element which all students in Malaysian polytechnic should master. The new English syllabus introduced in Polytechnic is aimed at building confidence and fluency in English for students as well as enabling them to function effectively at the workplace. Majority of the Communicative English assessment requires students to communicate in English either as individuals or in groups, but many students are still reluctant to speak in front of the classroom and have a very low level of confidence. Thus, Video Project Assignment (VPA) is implemented to boost the achievement of students in the field of Communicative English. The aims of this study are 1) to analyse the student’s perception on the use of Video Project Assignment (VPA) in Communicative English subject, 2) to examine students’ engagement level towards the use of Video Project Assignment (VPA) based on emotional engagement and cognitive engagement and 3) to identify students’ achievement in DUE3012 Communicative English 2 subject. A set of questionnaire was used to gather data from thirty-three respondents from one of the polytechnics in Johor. Descriptive analysis technique was used to analyzed the data gathered from questionnaire. Result of the study indicates that by generating Video Project Assignment (VPA), students demonstrate positive perception, engagement, and achievement. This study also provides the students, lecturers, and potential researcher with a good inference.

KUALITAS PRODUK MENENTUKAN KEPUTUSAN PEMBELIAN TAGAR STUDI KASUS PADA KONSUMEN TAGAR BANDUNG CABANG PASIRKALIKI

Tofu is a food made from soybeans and is closely related to Indonesian food. Businesses in the tofu sector, of course, need high innovation and the right promotion so that consumers can be interested in buying tofu. The purpose of this research is to determine whether product quality determines purchasing decisions. The method used in this research is descriptive verification with a quantitative approach through a survey. Based on the Slovin formula, the number of respondents studied was 98 people. The data analysis used multiple linear regression after the questionnaire result data was made in the form of MSI and the classical assumption test was fulfilled. The hypothesis of this study is that product quality and promotion have a positive effect partially or simultaneously to the purchase decision. The results of regression testing show that there is a positive effect either simultaneously or partially of Product Quality and Promotion on Purchasing Decisions.

Google classroom : An online platform for teaching English

In the development of the internet era, classroom learning changes from traditional teaching to online learning. The purpose of this research is to report action research that was carried out to investigate the effectiveness of google classroom on students’ learning performance in STKIP PGRI Bandar Lampung. The participants were 25 students studying English. The researchers conducted some exercises, discussions, quizzes, and activities on Google Classroom based on three lesson plans that were applied to teach the students in the writing course. Analysis of students’ second writing shows a significant improvement in students’ writing. The students have positive perceptions towards using Google Classroom in language learning based on a post-treatment questionnaire result.

Relationship of Anxiety and Post-Vaccination Nurse Caring During The Covid P-19 Pandemic in Indonesia Hospital

Introduction: Anxiety is a psychological aspect that everyone will feel when they are in a situation that threatens their comfort. Caring is a behavior that is identical with nurses as health workers who provide services to clients. Nurses providing services to clients during the Covid-19 pandemic will undoubtedly be riskier because many clients without signs and symptoms are in the service area. This condition can certainly affect the nurse's psychology to increase the nurse's anxiety which will later affect the nurse's caring for the clients she cares for. Aim: To describe the relationship between nurses' anxiety and care after the Covid-19 vaccination at the hospital. Method: Non-experimental using a correlational research design to explain the correlative relationship between variables. The population of this study was nurses in the inpatient ward of the Hospital in Indonesia, with 191 nurses. The sampling technique used by researchers in this study is random sampling. The data collection technique used is by using a questionnaire. Result and Analysis: Respondent data shows that anxiety and caring nurses have a relationship with the value of (α = 0.031). The nature of the relationship between the two variables is very low, with a value (r = 0.156). Discussions: Anxiety with caring for nurses after covid-19 vaccination has a weak relationship. The vaccination program is expected to reduce a person's infection rate. The virus is hoping that people who have been vaccinated can carry out daily activities without any worries, including nurses who work to provide services to clients to care for clients without any anxiety. Accessible Learning Sources: A Need Analysis on Maritime English Learning Apps

Maritime English is defined as the English language used by seafarers both at sea and in port and by individuals working in the shipping and shipbuilding industry. The teachers are required to make the students skillful and ready to work in maritime sectors once they graduate. The existing and relevant maritime English learning materials following STCW 2010 curriculum in Indonesia are still rare and limited. This study aims to conduct a need analysis of android and web-based Maritime English apps based on the students' perspectives. This study uses questionnaires shared and completed randomly by 318 students from different majors and at Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Pelayaran (Maritime Higher Education Institute) Jakarta. The data is gathered and analyzed accordingly to create the essential concept of the MarEng apps design. The questionnaire result indicates that most of the participants need an ME learning platform in order for them to have better access to and to practice the required knowledge and skills. Explicit bilingual instructions and features like video, audio, and text are also preferred to be incorporated. It is suggested to start from the elementary level and cover the four skills, especially listening, speaking, and pronunciation. It is so suggested that the platform can be constructed in easy and fun UI/UX covering the required content.
