With the development of computer network and automation technology, network production of NC machine tool has become trend in enterprise. Aim at communicate interface of NC machine tool, a NC machine tool control system design based on CAN bus was presented. Asynchronism serial communication software between DNC host computer with NC system and hardware realization of CAN bus communication and the key technologies for realizing system were discussed in detail.

To adapt to the CNC machine high precision, high quality, high reliability requirements,This article designed NC machine tool control system with application of Lon-works technology. The hardware design method of input module and sensor interface, output module and the stepper motor interface in the system are introduced. This kind of control system rely on its core technology neural chip that based on Lon-works technology can realize the work-piece precision machining. It can be applied to different types of CNC machine tools and will make up for the deficiency of the traditional NC machine tool by PLC control.

The numerical control machine tool, which is a typical energy-using product, because there are all sorts of energy loss and auxiliary functions, has low efficiency in machining process. Author makes a study of NC machine tool energy consumption controlling. With simens840Dsl numerical control system as an example, based on the analysis of CNC system control principle, according to processing characteristic of the part, the macro program is wrote to optimize dynamic characteristics of NC machine tool. According to the machine idle time in different work condition, three energy-saving control profiles are formulated, including machine standby, NC standby, auto shut off. By the formulation of the corresponding PLC control logic, low energy consumption of intelligent control of NC machine tool is realized. Integrate PAC3200/4200 multi-function meter in NC machine tools, quantitative measurement and analysis of energy consumption for numerical control system and ancillary equipment can be implemented, and machine tool real-time energy data can be obtained. This scheme has been successfully applied in long-men portable CNC machine tools, and obtained the ideal effect: to realize the optimize control of energy consumption, improve the performance of the machine tool, become more market competitiveness.

During machining some ultra-intense and special-shaped parts, unstability and surface ablation often turn up. Some large and heavy parts are often machined with heavy duty NC machine tool. For avoiding the processing defects of the above parts, an online monitoring, diagnosis and control system is designed for heavy duty NC machine tool. The system can online monitor the operation condition of heavy duty NC machine tool and real-time control the processing. Some methods of signal analysis and processing are adopted such as spectrum analysis, wavelet analysis, Wigner-Ville distribution and Artificial Neural Network etc. The system is developed with C language and Qt based on Linux operation system. Optical fiber communication is adopted between industrial computer and NC system. Experiment platform of the system is machining an aircraft landing gear with five-axis NC machine tool. The scheme is verified feasible after preliminary test.
