Research shows that embedded relations can facilitate the resource acquisition process in entrepreneurship. Yet, as relations are dynamic and subject to change, it remains unclear how entrepreneurs can acquire necessary resources when pre-existing ties may not yet or no longer be relevant, sufficient or accessible. Under these circumstances, acquiring necessary resources is a challenge and one that novice entrepreneurs in project-based enterprises face repeatedly as they seek to sustain their businesses. Evidence from 123 projects developed by six newly formed independent television production companies in the UK shows that new entrepreneurs can manoeuvre around constraints by engaging in one of four counter-fate relational practices: posturing (i.e. exaggerating interest from key ties), status sequencing (i.e. developing key relations in sequence based on status), geographic sequencing (i.e. attaining key ties in sequence based on location), and opportunistic manoeuvring (i.e. manipulating the opportunism of potential resource-holders). We contribute to entrepreneurship research by showing how resources can be acquired despite a lack of key embedded ties, and highlight enabling conditions; and to project studies by illustrating how projects progress past nascence to launch and acquire new clients or repeat commissions.

This paper reports a study of the optimal release of men's and women's new and old rule javelins involving modeling, simulation, optimization (including sensitivity analysis), and simulation evaluation. Because of the lack of repro-ducibility in earlier results of two-dimensional flight simulation research, the paper presents a continuation of the two-dimensional model used previously. As expected, each javelin was found to have a different optimal release for a given individual, and the optimal release varied with the thrower's nominal release speed. A limited degree of simulation evaluation was achieved by comparison of the model and simulation results with measured throws. Within the constraints of measurement error, this tended to support both the adequacy of the two-dimensional model and the results of the simulations for such high standard throws. However, further experimental studies to quantify the angle of yaw (sideslip) in measured wind conditions are recommended to assess any changes needed to the two-dimensional model of javelin throwing and to determine the advisability of including this three-dimensional aspect of javelin release in future simulations.

It researches the service efficient problem of logistics distribution center manual order picking, tour length and then. It builds picker route stochastic model under random storage S-type picking condition. It makes model approximation calculation with simulation result under order random arrival frequencies. It conducts well approximation between model and simulation results under the condition of permission error. It is the foundation for improving storage strategy. And it provides basic foundation for researching of picking time distribution function for manual order picking random service system.

The main role of the permanent magnet machine in the aviation frequency alternator is as the exciter. Its main function is not only to supply power for the generator controller but also supply the excitation current to exciter by supplying field winding of exciter with DC excitation voltage in the case without the emergency power. So we have to rectify 115V AC of permanent magnet machine output and make DC/DC conversion, so that the output is the suitable DC voltage. In the actual, it is very troublesome to make parameter tuning to rectifier module and DC/DC module, so this it is necessary to make model and simulation research. In this paper, we make module, simulation and parameter tuning for the rectifier and DC/DC transformation module in the MATLAB environment. From the simulation results, we can get that the model is correct, the parameters are appropriate.
