Abstract The mean fluorescence decay time for rhodamine 6G (donor) in the presence of malachite green (acceptor) has been investigated using a pulse fluorometer. The experimental results have been compared with theoretical ones obtained earlier [1].

Abstract The photoluminescence decay time τ of neutral solutions of rhodamine B in ethanol was mea-sured for concentrations c from 10-5 mol 1-1 to 10-2 mol 1-1 at 295 K. The τ(C) curve observed is atypical, showing two regions of decreasing r. The drop over the range 4 X 10-4 to 10-3 mol 1-1 was explained by the presence of two ionic forms of rhodamine B, and that at concentrations greater than 4 X 10-3 mol 1-1 - by rhodamine B dimers.

A simple method is proposed for short fall-time dye laser pulse generation. The pulse tailoring is demonstrated by an excimer laser pumped double cavity dye laser. The achieved fall time is 280 ps with the use of a 7 ns long pump pulse.

The non-equivalent doping of Mn4+ in the red-emitting fluoride phosphors effectively shortens the fluorescence lifetime. Herein, we successfully synthesized Rb2NaInF6:Mn4+ phosphors by an ion-exchange method. The compensation mechanism of Mn4+...
