To solve site muck truck regulation difficulty, a muck truck monitoring system is designed and implemented based on 3G networks and the Internet of Things. The system consisted of Hi3515 processors embedded intelligence analyzer, RFID, grating and camera. With the data send from the construction site, a B/S remote regulatory website is built to provide real-time monitoring, evidence preservation, data analysis and data summary.

AbstractPurpose: The paper aims to present constructs related to Internet of Things, which are expected to be integrated to, and improve the implantation phase of Complex Engineering Projects. The traditional implantation methods for Complex Engineering Projects are neither effective nor efficient to deal with the massive data generated by their productive processes. It usually causes high levels of rework, schedule delays and financial losses.Design/methodology: In this paper a systematic literature review on IoT architecture, sensor technologies and possible applications was presented. These constructs were identified and selected from a lexical analysis of a reseach basis carried out with NVivo software.Findings: We have been in the emerging 4th Industrial Revolution and the Internet of Things (IoT) has a valuable role to make an easier way to success for Complex Project implementations. Therefore, a correlation scheme of the constructs and their applications identified in the bibliography was proposed.Originality/value: A concept and a framework for a "Digital Construction Site" (DCS) from the application of IoT Sensors (IoTS) in the shipbuilding industry. It is valuable for readers who want to understand alternatives to improve the results of typical processes on implementation phase of Complex Engineering Projects, with open source technologies.

According to the present situation that China's construction site safety supervision of the development toward informatization, this essay put forward a kind of construction site safety supervisory system based on the internet of things through the introduction of wireless network. At first, combined with the requirements of government and industry, we have analyses the requirements of building construction site for safety supervision. Then combined with the difference between architecture construction site and industrial production safety supervision, referring to the existing industrial video safety supervision system, we put forward the structure of the construction site safety system based on the internet of things. At last, we have also analyses several problems about the contracture of network nodes which should be valued. Wireless network can be better adapted to the changing characteristics of construction site safety supervisory operation, and this will promote effectively the development of safety supervision toward the direction of informationization.

The existing stand-alone multimedia machines and online multimedia machines in the market have certain deficiencies, so they cannot meet the actual needs. Based on this, this research combines the actual needs to design and implement a multi-media system based on the Internet of Things and cloud service platform. Moreover, through in-depth research on the MQTT protocol, this study proposes a message encryption verification scheme for the MQTT protocol, which can solve the problem of low message security in the Internet of Things communication to a certain extent. In addition, through research on the fusion technology of the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence, this research designs scheme to provide a LightGBM intelligent prediction module interface, MQTT message middleware, device management system, intelligent prediction and push interface for the cloud platform. Finally, this research completes the design and implementation of the cloud platform and tests the function and performance of the built multimedia system database. The research results show that the multimedia database constructed in this paper has good performance.

This paper discusses the organisations involved in the development of application standards, European regulations and best practice guides, their scope of work and internal structures. It considers their respective visions for the requirements for future standardisation work and considers in more detail those areas where these overlap, namely human centric or integrative lighting, connectivity and the Internet of Things, inclusivity and sustainability.
