Abstract Background There is a lack of theory-based interventions for direct support professionals (DSPs) to support a healthy lifestyle for people with moderate to profound intellectual disabilities (ID) despite their major role in this. This study aims to evaluate the preparation, implementation, and preliminary outcomes of a theory-based training and education program for DSPs to learn how to support these individuals. Methods The program consisting of e-learning, three in-person sessions, and three assignments was implemented. The implementation process was evaluated with a mixed method design with the following components: preparation phase, implementation phase, and the outcomes. These components were measured with project notes, questionnaires, interviews, reflections, assignments, food diaries, Actigraph/Actiwatch, and an inventory of daily activities. Results Regarding the preparation phase, enough potential participants met the inclusion criteria and the time to recruit the participants was 9 months. The program was implemented in four (residential) facilities and involved individuals with moderate to profound ID (n = 24) and DSPs (n = 32). The e-learning was completed by 81% of the DSPs, 72–88% attended the in-person sessions, and 34–47% completed the assignments. Overall, the fidelity of the program was good. DSPs would recommend the program, although they were either negative or positive about the time investment. Mutual agreement on expectations were important for the acceptability and suitability of the program. For the outcomes, the goals of the program were achieved, and the attitudes of DSPs towards a healthy lifestyle were improved after 3 months of the program (nutrition: p = < 0.01; physical activity: p = 0.04). A statistically significant improvement was found for food intake of people with ID (p = 0.047); for physical activity, no statistically significant differences were determined. Conclusions The theory-based program consisting of a training and education section for DSPs to support a healthy lifestyle for people with moderate to profound ID was feasible to implement and, despite some barriers regarding time capacity and mutual expectations, it delivered positive changes in both persons with moderate to profound ID and DSPs. Thus, the program is a promising intervention to support DSPs.

This article opens up the black box of innovation and examines the relationship between functional diversity in software teams and the often neglected dimension of innovation – speed, over the two phases of innovation: creativity and idea implementation. By combining information processing view and social identity theory, the authors hypothesize that when collective team identification is low, functional diversity positively affects the time spent in the creativity phase; however, when collective team identification is high, this relationship is inverted U-shaped. When task cohesion is high, functional diversity negatively affects the time spent in the idea implementation phase; however, when task cohesion is low, this relationship is U-shaped. Results from 96 IT software-teams confirmed the authors' hypotheses. Theoretical and managerial implications are discussed.

Health informatics is an interdisciplinary field in the computer and health sciences. Health informatics, which enables the effective use of medical information, has the potential to reduce both the cost and the burden of healthcare workers during the pandemic process. Using the machine learning algorithms support vector machines, naive bayes, k-nearest neighbor, and C4.5 algorithms, a model performance evaluation was performed to identify the algorithm that will show the highest performance for the prediction of the disease. Three separate training and test datasets were created 70% - 30%, 75% - 25%, and 80% - 20%, respectively. The implementation phase of the study was carried out by following the CRISP-DM steps, and the analyses were made using the R language. By examining the model performance evaluation criteria, the findings show that the C4.5 algorithm showed the best performance with 70% training dataset.

In software engineering, a design pattern is a general solution to commonly occurring problems in software design. A design pattern isn't a finished design that can be transformed directly into code.

Mitigation of the impact of disasters and increasing resilience represent an inseparable part of the competitiveness of regions that cannot be implemented without a necessary resource framework. The paper focuses on the issue of financing individual phases of disaster management at the level of regions in the Czech conditions. The article is based on the assumption that public authorities do not systematically plan funds for dealing with crisis situations in the expenditure part of the budget, thereby not supporting the structural and functional conditions of territorial attractiveness, security and sustainability. The aim of the article is to propose a unique calculation of the minimum fund allocation for individual phases of disaster risk reduction at the regional level. The calculation concept is based on the value of the property owned by the region, the number of crisis situations predicted in the region, the number of crisis situations predicted in the Czech Republic, the administrative territory of the region and the total expenditures of the regional budget. The article presents a specific national approach to the public fund allocation to the individual disaster risk management phases, providing competitive administration and progressive and resilient development of the region. Based on the originally elaborated calculation, a comparative analysis of the expenditure part of 13 regional budgets for the 2013– 2019 period was performed. The premise on the insufficient financing of disaster management was confirmed, although the Crisis Management Act imposes this obligation. The results showed that the most underfunded area was the implementation phase.

Partners in the implementation of this community partnership program are SMK 17 Agustus 1945 which is located on Jalan Nginden Semolo no.44 Surabaya. The facilities owned are IT-based, it's just that the obstacles faced by schools in supporting the teaching and learning process, especially the facilities and convenience of libraries, have not met the national library standards. Based on the input of teachers and library staff as well as direct observations made by the service team, there are several problems, namely: 1) There is no arrangement of library material collections according to their field of knowledge; 2) There is no book cataloging in accordance with the field; 3) Inventory of library materials has not been managed properly and correctly, by providing a book slip for each book; 4) There is no circulation service yet, because officers are burdened with routine public relations activities and lack of library personnel; 5) There is no guidebook in managing library materials, officers have not used standard guidelines. There are two stages in implementing the solution that must be completed with partners, namely: 1) the planning stage which includes: coordination with library staff, teachers, and school principals as initial input, direct observation to obtain evidence related to initial input; 2) Implementation phase which includes: Arrangement and classification of library collections, cataloging library collections, inventory, making library circulation services, making manuals. The results of the community service activities concluded that there were significant differences before and after the procurement and management of the library. This is evident from the results of activities in the form of classification, the arrangement of library collections has been well realized, the room layout is neatly arranged, cataloging library collections, numbering and installation of slips have been installed properly, making library circulation services, and making library management manuals. manual has been realized. From a series of community service activities, it has a success rate of 100%. This is shown from all activities that have been completely completed and the results can be enjoyed by students, teachers and visitors to the SMK 17 August 1945 Library and no less important for the sake of school accreditation.

Objectives: We face the impossibility of having enough COVID-19 vaccines for everyone in the near future. This study aims to contribute to the debate on equitable global access to COVID-19 vaccines, tackling key ethical discussions and policy challenges regarding early phases of COVAX, the global cooperation mechanism for supporting fair vaccine allocation.Methods: We conducted in-depth interviews with twelve experts and a literature research on academic articles, media sources and public statements. We built a data analysis matrix and conducted a thematic analysis.Results: Our findings show, first, that interviewed experts who hold different views on vaccine allocation, including moderate nationalist perspectives, agree on joining a global cooperation mechanism. Second, incentives to join COVAX vary greatly among countries. Third, specific barriers to COVAX emerged in the early implementation phase. And fourth, countries might be trapped in a zero-sum game regarding the global vaccine supply.Conclusion: We present findings that enrich analyses of early phases of COVAX (April 2020–21), we introduce three ethical discussions that provide a common ground for equitable access to COVID-19 vaccines, and we highlight policy challenges.

According to standards, the lighting system is one of the key elements to provide safety on city roads, defined by quality parameters. LED technology and movement detection sensor interaction bring about new regulation techniques, creating an energy-efficient smart LED lighting system concept. This paper reveals extensive comparative data analysis of Dialux simulation results before the project implementation phase and in-situ quality parameter measurements for various street profiles and LED luminary power types. After the project implementation phase, more than 1000 measurement points are reached. Further, energy efficiency increase issues in smart lighting systems are described in terms of LED luminary dimming profile analysis and future dynamic control application modes. The first findings clearly show that in most cases light output in simulation results is lower than in real situations; therefore, LED luminary power can be decreased, allowing for higher energy savings in first luminary maintenance years, keeping the same defined ME class or safety level. Let us suppose that the traffic intensity data are obtained from smart system sensors. In that case, the ME class can be dynamically selected during different night times, thus increasing safety and providing extra energy savings using the same system elements, as well as leading to better ROI values.

Although initial adoption of an information system has been shown to influence system success, further value can be obtained when end-users move beyond adoption, utilizing more features of the system and integrating it into their work routines. Organizations can increase the post-deployment utilization of their systems by emphasizing continued interaction between developers and end-users. In this study, we develop a research model investigating the influence of shared understanding, faithfulness of appropriation, and consensus on spirit on post-deployment system utilization. Using a sample from a healthcare organization, we show that increased end-user postdeployment interaction with developers supports a shared understanding between the two groups, which ultimately impacts both the routinization and infusion of a system. This study provides a contribution by demonstrating the impact of developer/user interaction in the post-implementation phase of systems development.

<p>Over the last decade the construction industry has made efforts to develop green building practices. With the enactment of PUPR Ministerial Regulation 21 of 2021 concerning Performance Assessment of Green Buildings, the Government requires the Government to implement green construction in every stage of construction, both in planning, development, supervision, operation and maintenance. In addition to planners, contractors have an important role in the principles of green building sustainability. The Sukawati Art Market as a public building has gone through a green building planning certification process by the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing in 2019. The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the application of green construction in the implementation of the Sukawati Art Market development focusing on the parameters of the Green Supply Chain. This study begins with the identification of the parameters according to the checklist for the performance assessment of the BGH construction implementation phase for New Buildings. Then proceed with doing a comparison to evaluate the field data obtained with the assessment standard and perform an analysis on the parameters of the green supply chain. The research method used is qualitative which includes case studies of construction implementation and qualitative interviews with the parties involved. The results obtained are that the construction of the Sukawati Art Market has met the criteria as a building that has an environmentally friendly construction process with a total value of 101 points or 61% and is included in the pratama predicate.</p>
