In order to solve the problem of road feel feedback of vehicle steer-by-wire (SBW) system based on joystick, a road feel control strategy was established to analyze the road feel theory of traditional steer system, which included return, assist and damp control module. By verifying the computer simulation results with the control strategy from software of CarSim and Matlab/Simulink, it shows that the proposed strategy can effective get road feel in different vehicle speed conditions and could improve the vehicle maneuverability to achieve desired steering feel by different drivers.

Aiming to solve the energy saving problem in modern electric vehicle, we propose a motor-generator integration control system based on the induction motor and the fuzzy control theory in this paper. A motor-generator hardware platform is built up using the four quadrant characteristic of AC induction motor. The AC induction motor works both as driving motor of the electric vehicle and as well as the energy recovery generator. Specifically, the fuzzy direct torque control strategy is adopted in the motor state, and fuzzy instantaneous torque control strategy in power generation state. A simulation is carried out to analyze the practicality of the proposed control method, the simulation results show that the fuzzy torque control technology is well performed. Finally, a simulative energy recovery experimental platform is built up to test the proposed integration control system, and results shown that the efficiency of energy recovery could be up to 97.3%.

Several kinds of methods of energy management of hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) are analyzed. Based on the design requirement of a certain type of parallel HEV, the fuzzy control strategy of energy management is proposed. ADVISOR2002 is chosen as the simulation platform for secondary development, and the simulation results of the fuzzy control strategy and electric assist control strategy are compared. The simulation results indicate that the adaptive fuzzy controller can obviously improve the performance of HEV fuel economy and emissions.
