AbstractGiven a Lie superalgebra $${\mathfrak {g}}$$ g with a subalgebra $${\mathfrak {g}}_{\ge 0}$$ g ≥ 0 , and a finite-dimensional irreducible $${\mathfrak {g}}_{\ge 0}$$ g ≥ 0 -module F, the induced $${\mathfrak {g}}$$ g -module $$M(F)={\mathcal {U}}({\mathfrak {g}})\otimes _{{\mathcal {U}}({\mathfrak {g}}_{\ge 0})}F$$ M ( F ) = U ( g ) ⊗ U ( g ≥ 0 ) F is called a finite Verma module. In the present paper we classify the non-irreducible finite Verma modules over the largest exceptional linearly compact Lie superalgebra $${\mathfrak {g}}=E(5,10)$$ g = E ( 5 , 10 ) with the subalgebra $${\mathfrak {g}}_{\ge 0}$$ g ≥ 0 of minimal codimension. This is done via classification of all singular vectors in the modules M(F). Besides known singular vectors of degree 1,2,3,4 and 5, we discover two new singular vectors, of degrees 7 and 11. We show that the corresponding morphisms of finite Verma modules of degree 1,4,7, and 11 can be arranged in an infinite number of bilateral infinite complexes, which may be viewed as “exceptional” de Rham complexes for E(5, 10).

We continue the study of irreducible representations of the exceptional Lie superalgebra E(3,6). This is one of the two simple infinite-dimensional Lie superalgebras of vector fields which have a Lie algebra sℓ(3) × sℓ(2) × gℓ(1) as the zero degree component of its consistent ℤ-grading. We provide the classification of the singular vectors in the degenerate Verma modules over E(3,6), completing thereby the classification and construction of all irreducible E(3,6)-modules that are L0-locally finite.

AbstractAn equivariant map queer Lie superalgebra is the Lie superalgebra of regular maps from an algebraic variety (or scheme) X to a queer Lie superalgebra q that are equivariant with respect to the action of a finite group Γ acting on X and q. In this paper, we classify all irreducible finite-dimensional representations of the equivariant map queer Lie superalgebras under the assumption that Γ is abelian and acts freely on X. We show that such representations are parameterized by a certain set of Γ-equivariant finitely supported maps from X to the set of isomorphism classes of irreducible finite-dimensional representations of q. In the special case where X is the torus, we obtain a classification of the irreducible finite-dimensional representations of the twisted loop queer superalgebra.

In this paper, we realize Verma modules and the vector-coherent-state (VCS) representations of the orthosymplectic Lie superalgebra osp(2|2n) as differential operators with vector coefficients. We also characterize simple sub-representations of VCS representations as kernels of some finite number of differential operators. The singular vectors of the atypical representation of osp(2|2n) are explicitly given.

We investigate the representations of a class of conformal Galilei algebras in one spatial dimension with central extension. This is done by explicitly constructing all singular vectors within the Verma modules, proving their completeness and then deducing irreducibility of the associated highest weight quotient modules. A resulting classification of infinite dimensional irreducible modules is presented. It is also shown that a formula for the Kac determinant is deduced from our construction of singular vectors. Thus we prove a conjecture of Dobrev, Doebner and Mrugalla for the case of the Schrödinger algebra.

We prove existence of BGG resolution of an irreducible highest weight module over a quantum group, classify morphisms of Verma modules over a quantum group and find formulas for singular vectors in Verma modules. As an application we find cohomology of the quantum group of the type [Formula: see text] with coefficients in a finite-dimensional module.

AbstractWe show that a quantum Verma-type module for a quantum group associated to an affine Kac-Moody algebra is characterized by its subspace of finite-dimensional weight spaces. In order to do this we prove an explicit equivalence of categories between a certain category containing the quantum Verma modules and a category of modules for a subalgebra of the quantum group for which the finite part of the Verma module is itself a module.

Abstract All results concern characteristic 2. We describe two procedures; each of which to every simple Lie algebra assigns a simple Lie superalgebra. We prove that every simple finite-dimensional Lie superalgebra is obtained as the result of one of these procedures. For Lie algebras, in addition to the known “classical” restrictedness, we introduce a (2,4)-structure on the two non-alternating series: orthogonal and Hamiltonian vector fields. For Lie superalgebras, the classical restrictedness of Lie algebras has two analogs: a $2|4$-structure, which is a direct analog of the classical restrictedness, and a novel $2|2$-structure—one more analog, a $(2,4)|4$-structure on Lie superalgebras is the analog of (2,4)-structure on Lie algebras known only for non-alternating orthogonal and Hamiltonian series.
