We present the recent result on CP mixing based on a high statistics photoproduced charm sample collected by the FOCUS experiment. We compare the lifetimes of two neutral D meson decays: D0→K- π+ and D0→K-K+. A mixing parameter for the neutral D system (yCP) is obtained under the assumption that K-π+ is an equal mixture of CP odd and even eigenstates.

We study the radiative leptonic D meson decays of [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text] and D0→ l+l-γ (l=e, μ) within the light front quark model. In the standard model, we find that the decay branching ratios of [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] are 6.9×10-6 (7.7×10-5), 2.5×10-5 (2.6×10-4), and 6.0×10-6 (3.2×10-4), and that of D0→l+l-γ (l=e, μ) and [Formula: see text] are 6.3×10-11 and 2.7×10-16, respectively.

We describe the ππS-wave in D+→ π+π−π+ decays using a unitary model for the ππ Final State Interactions (FSI). The three body decay is treated as a quasi two-body process where, at the weak vertex, the D meson decays into a resonance and a pion. The weak part of the decay amplitude is evaluated using the effective weak Hamiltonian within the factorization approximation.
