AbstractThe pandemic caused by the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus forced governments around the world to impose lockdowns, which mostly involved restricting non-essential activities. Once the rate of infection is manageable, governments must implement strategies that reverse the negative effects of the lockdowns. A decision support system based on fuzzy theory and multi-criteria decision analysis principles is proposed to investigate the importance of a set of key indicators for post-COVID-19 reopening strategies. This system yields more reliable results because it considers the hesitation and experience of decision makers. By including 16 indicators that are utilized by international organizations for comparing, ranking, or investigating countries, our results suggest that governments and policy makers should focus their efforts on reducing violence, crime and unemployment. The provided methodology illustrates the suitability of decision science tools for tackling complex and unstructured problems, such as the COVID-19 pandemic. Governments, policy makers and stakeholders might find in this work scientific-based guidelines that facilitate complex decision-making processes.

<p>Today, the interest of the community to send their children to religious-based schools that is Maahad Tahfiz Center (MTC)) whether managed by Government (State or Federal), private individuals, nonprofit organization (NGO) or certain organizations is very high. The demand that exceeds this offer has seen the growth of MTC rapidly. This situation provides many choices and advantages to parents. However, there is anxiety among parents to choose the MTC that fulfills the features that they want.  Hence modeling decision support system (DSS) in a MTC selection has been modeled using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) provides the effective way for parents to select appropriate MTC. AHP is an effective tool for dealing with the complex decision making and aid the parents to set priorities and provide the best decision in selection MTC. Hopefully by using this model and future development of this model will help the parents make the best choices of MTC based on their preferences. </p>

AbstractDecision support systems play an important role in medical fields as they can augment clinicians to deal more efficiently and effectively with complex decision-making processes. In the diagnosis of headache disorders, however, existing approaches and tools are still not optimal. On the one hand, to support the diagnosis of this complex and vast spectrum of disorders, the International Headache Society released in 1988 the International Classification of Headache Disorders (ICHD), now in its 3rd edition: a 200 pages document classifying more than 300 different kinds of headaches, where each is identified via a collection of specific nontrivial diagnostic criteria. On the other hand, the high number of headache disorders and their complex criteria make the medical history process inaccurate and not exhaustive both for clinicians and existing automatic tools. To fill this gap, we present head-asp, a novel decision support system for the diagnosis of headache disorders. Through a REST Web Service, head-asp implements a dynamic questionnaire that complies with ICHD-3 by exploiting two logical modules to reach a complete diagnosis while trying to minimize the total number of questions being posed to patients. Finally, head-asp is freely available on-line and it is receiving very positive feedback from the group of neurologists that is testing it.

Implementation of Decision Support System for various purposes now can facilitate policy makers to get the best alternative from a variety of predefined criteria, one of the methods used in the implementation of Decision Support System is VIKOR (Vise Kriterijumska Optimizacija I Kompromisno Resenje), VIKOR method in this research got the best results with an efficient and easily understood process computationally, it is expected that the results of this study facilitate various parties to develop a model any solutions.

Decision Support System is a system that can help management in making the right decision, which is needed at a management level. Likewise at the Lubuk Pakam Sub-District Office in selecting the best village head. So far, the Camat Office has never determined the best village head in Lubuk Pakam Subdistrict, so that it encounters obstacles in choosing the village head election. SPK is able to provide alternative solutions to semi / unstructured problems for individuals or groups and in a variety of decision making processes and styles, SPK uses data, databases and analyzes of decision models. Seeing this, researchers are interested in conducting research by applying the Extended Promethee II (EXPROM II) method to elect the best village head in a decision support system. It is expected that the results of the research can help the Lubuk Pakam sub-district
