Novel Method

Fluorescent SiC NPs were synthesized based on DBD in the presence of H2O2, where the abundant and highly efficient oxidant, ˙OH, was produced. The nanoparticles showed good properties and realized the detection of gold(iii) ions in the aqueous phase.
