Objective : This study looked at the incidence of overactive bladder (OAB) in KIA poly patients at Pauh Health Center in Padang City using Overactive Bladder Symptomps Score (OABSS).Method : This research is descriptive. The sampling technique was purposive sampling by considering inclusion and exclusion criteria. The inclusion criteria were women of ideal reproductive age (20-35 years) who had given birth spontaneously, were not pregnant, did not suffer from neurological disorders, diabetes, post bladder surgery and or urinary tract infections and were not treated with Overactive Bladder (OAB), while the exclusion criteria are not willing to take part in the study. The study was carried out at the KIA Poly of Pauh City Health Center in Padang during January 2019. The variable in this study was Overactive Bladder (OAB).Result : In this study, 97.22% of respondents experienced complaints of overactive bladder (OAB), (97.14%) experienced an urgent complaint, and only a small percentage (2.86%) of respondents experienced urinary incontinence. The results of this study indicate that respondents who did not experience complaints of overactive bladder (OAB) were respondents with the smallest parity (parity 1).Conclusion : Most respondents experienced complaints of overactive bladder (OAB) and urgency, and only a small proportion of respondents experienced urinary incontinence. Background: Percutaneous electrical stimulation and transcutaneous electrical stimulation (PTNS and TTNS) of the posterior tibial nerve are internationally recognized treatment methods that offer advantages in terms of treating patients with overactive bladder (OAB) who present with urinary incontinence (UI). This article aims to analyze the scientific evidence for the treatment of OAB with UI in adults using PTNS versus TTNS procedures in the posterior tibial nerve. Methods: A systematic review was conducted, between February and May 2021 in the Web of Science and Scopus databases, in accordance with the PRISMA recommendations. Results: The research identified 259 studies, 130 of which were selected and analyzed, with only 19 used according to the inclusion requirements established. The greatest effectiveness, in reducing UI and in other parameters of daily voiding and quality of life, was obtained by combining both techniques with other treatments, pharmacological treatments, or exercise. Conclusions: TTNS has advantages over PTNS as it is more comfortable for the patient even though there is equality of both therapies in the outcome variables. More research studies are necessary in order to obtain clear scientific evidence.

Urinary incontinence falls into two broad categories: stress incontinence and urge incontinence. Stress urinary incontinence occurs when urethral closure pressure cannot increase sufficiently to compensate for a sudden increase in intra-abdominal pressure, as from a cough or Valsalva maneuver. Urge urinary incontinence occurs when an unintended bladder contraction creates an insuppressible urge to void, leading to urinary leakage. When women have signs and/or symptoms of both stress and urge incontinence, it is referred to as mixed urinary incontinence. Overactive bladder syndrome is defined by the Standardization Subcommittee of the International Continence Society (ICS) as urinary urgency, with or without urge incontinence and usually with frequency and nocturia. Nocturia, which is often associated with urinary frequency, is defined as a need to urinate that awakens the person during the night. This chapter discusses the epidemiology and physiology of urinary incontinence and overactive bladder syndrome in women, as well as diagnosis and treatment. Tables list foods and beverages that may cause urinary frequency and urgency; features of urge incontinence, stress incontinence, and mixed incontinence; American Urologic Association (AUA) guidelines regarding level of evidence and indications for adult urodynamics; and currently available antimuscarinic drugs and their dosages, selectivity, efficacy, and side effects. Figures depict the journal of someone with mixed incontinence, a typical urodynamics suite, a urodynamic study of someone with detrusor overactivity, incontinence pessaries, and transobturator and retropubic slings. This review contains 5 figures, 5 tables, and 44 references.
