A decisive economical factor in the business transformation project (BTP) of a traditional business environment (BE) into an automated business environment, is the profile of the business transformation manager (BTM), who should be supported by a framework (Trad, & Kalpić, 2001; ). The BTM's profile and its relation to enterprise business architecture skills, have an ultimate impact on the concrete implementation phase of business transformation and related enterprise architecture projects. The basic profile and managerial aspects of BTM profiles and its support, have not been sufficiently researched, to hammer an optimal profile and a corresponding supporting framework that is why this research article proposes the related BTP's managerial recommendations and conclusions. This research paper and the related research publications series deals with the BTP's support for the BTM's selection, architecture support, decision making and training requirements; where the BTM, has to manage the complex technical implementation phase of the BTPs; knowing that this phase of a BTP is the major cause of very high failure rates.

The changing market trends make it mandatory for businesses to constantly innovate and improve while keeping the expenditures at lowest. For any business, irrespective of size, information technology is playing a major role. Cloud computing is emerging as a driving factor for all types of businesses. Although cloud computing is widely recognized as a technology transformer, its potential for driving business innovation is not exploited to the fullest. Cloud computing promises to decrease capital expenditures and offer higher utilization rates on existing hardware. To exploit the cloud computing capability to enable organizations to enhance their revenue streams and improved customer relationships while increasing business agility, organizations need to determine how best to employ cloud enabled business models that promote sustainable competitive advantage, as this chapter discusses. By completely leveraging cloud computing opportunities, organizations can focus on process improvement by driving inefficiencies out of repeatable processes and providing agility to reuse elements of business logic.

The AMM is supported by a real-life case of a business transformation architecture in the domain of enterprise asset management (EAM) that is supported by the alignment of a standardized enterprise architecture blueprint. This chapter proposes an assets alignment pattern (AAP) and offers a set of solutions in the form of design, technical, and managerial recommendations to be used by the target company's asset analysts and enterprise architects to implement EAM solutions in the context of business transformation projects (BTP). Heuristics is applied in real-world complex problems that are very similar to transformation projects. The EAM-based AAP is not influenced by any specific business domain and has a holistic approach that uses a neural networks processor.
