Currently, the ceramic inner container draws great attention in the field of induction heating pot. Based on the traditional roll-forming process for ceramic pot, a new kind process was proposed to fabricate ceramic inner container and synchronously embed stainless steel plate by one-step high temperature sintering. The key technology for this process is to avoid the oxidation of SUS430 stainless steel plate during the high temperature sintering for a longtime by coating a glass-ceramic layer. In this research, the glass-ceramic coating with excellent high temperature oxidation resistance was optimized. The influences of ZrO2 content in the coating slurry on the high temperature oxidation resistance and thermal shock resistance of SUS430 stainless steel plate with glass-ceramic coating were studied. Meanwhile, the coatings were characterized by Scanning Electron Microscopy, X-ray Diffraction and Thermal Expansion Analysis. The experimental results showed that the glass-ceramic coating was smooth and had excellent thermal shock resistance when the addition of ZrO2 reached 15wt%. The mass gain of the SUS430 stainless steel plate with glass-ceramic coating was only 0.453% after sintering at 1300°C for 10h in air atmosphere, which was less one percent than that of SUS430 stainless steel plate under the same sintering condition.

In this paper, the new high temperature ceramic matrix coating of anti-oxidation for stainless steel was prepared by slurry method. With the research about oxidation resistance of ceramic matrix coating formed on stainless steel, the effect of initial melting temperature, melting temperature range and thermal expansion coefficients of ceramic sintering change on protective properties of high temperature coating prepared at 1250°C is investigated, and then high temperature sintering ceramic with high-performance is gained through optimization. Through the test of TG-DTA and XRD to the coating, study on high temperature oxidation resistance of ceramic coating and the structure changing of the scale with coating from SEM images and photos, it is shown that the ceramic coating has excellent oxidation resistant properties, the weight loss with coating decrease more than 85%.

Cf/SiC composite are widely used in aerospace, chemical industry, traffic, and many other fields because of good mechanical properties, heat resistance, thermal shock resistance and abrasion resistance, corrosion resistance, etc. But its oxidation resistance is poor in the application of high temperature environment. In this paper, high-temperature ceramic coating was prepared on Cf/SiC composites surface through brush painting method and the oxidation resistance of the coating were studied. The coating was tested by XRD, SEM, etc. The results showed that the coating and composite matrix is good combination, at the same time the coating has good oxidation resistance.
