AbstractIn this paper, using variational methods, we prove the existence of at least one positive radial solution for the generalized $p(x)$ p ( x ) -Laplacian problem $$ -\Delta _{p(x)} u + R(x) u^{p(x)-2}u=a (x) \vert u \vert ^{q(x)-2} u- b(x) \vert u \vert ^{r(x)-2} u $$ − Δ p ( x ) u + R ( x ) u p ( x ) − 2 u = a ( x ) | u | q ( x ) − 2 u − b ( x ) | u | r ( x ) − 2 u with Dirichlet boundary condition in the unit ball in $\mathbb{R}^{N}$ R N (for $N \geq 3$ N ≥ 3 ), where a, b, R are radial functions.

AbstractIn this paper, we are interested in $L^{\infty }$ L ∞ decay estimates of weak solutions for the doubly nonlinear parabolic equation and the degenerate evolution m-Laplacian equation not in the divergence form. By a modified Moser’s technique we obtain $L^{\infty }$ L ∞ decay estimates of weak solutiona.

AbstractWe consider a Cauchy–Dirichlet problem for a quasilinear second order parabolic equation with lower order term driven by a singular coefficient. We establish an existence result to such a problem and we describe the time behavior of the solution in the case of the infinite–time horizon.

AbstractIn this paper, we consider the existence of nontrivial solutions for a fractional p-Laplacian equation in a bounded domain. Under different assumptions of nonlinearities, we give existence and multiplicity results respectively. Our approach is based on variational methods and some analytical techniques.
