Abstract Allegheny Ludlum AL 453 Alloy is a ferritic stainless steel with low levels of rare earth metals added to reduce the growth rate of oxides at high temperatures. The enhanced oxidation resistance makes it applicable to high-temperature applications. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, and tensile properties.
