We report a thiol-reactive amphiphilic block copolymer poly(ethylene oxide)-block-poly(pyridyldisulfide ethylmethacrylate) (PEO-b-PPDSM) for coating AuNPs. These individually dispersed AuNPs have unique surfaces that are both neutral and facile to functionalize.

A novel perfluorooctyl bromide (PFOB)-loaded nanovesicle with a size of about 500 nm was prepared by self-assembly of an amphiphilic block copolymer, poly(ethylene oxide)-b-poly(d,l-lactic acid) (PEG-PDLLA), for blood pool ultrasound imaging.

In this report, we show that the structure of an amphiphilic block copolymer assembled through the emulsion and solvent evaporation method can be regulated by tuning the interfacial tension with a third solvent.
