We report the chemical intercalation of Li+ into the interlayer of V2O5·nH2O with enlarged layer spacing and fast Zn2+ diffusion, resulting in high rate capability and excellent long-term cycling performance.

The double-carbon confined CGH@C/rGO composite is designed via a facile in situ hydrothermal strategy. When used as an anode for sodium-ion batteries, it exhibits superior reversible capacities, high rate capability, and stable cycling performance.

Good electronic conductivity and mechanical properties are obtained by introducing CNTs into an ANSO@CNTs anode material. The anode possesses a super cycling performance and a high rate capability because the porous structure facilitates liquid electrolyte diffusion into active materials.
