In the infrastructure construction of my country and the countries along the “Belt and Road”, there are many projects involving peat soil foundation treatment, but there is a lack of in-depth research on the properties of peat soil and foundation treatment technology, and there is no complete set of relevant foundation treatment technical specification systems. However, the traditional replacement method for ground treatment characteristics cannot meet the needs of energy saving, environmental protection and green development concepts. This article adopts the method of literature research, taking Sri Lanka (CKE project) as an example to introduce the engineering foundation treatment technology of peat soil in detail, and provide a reference for the construction and treatment of peat soil foundation. How to realize the technical problem of peat soil-based treatment needs to be solved urgently, so the understanding of peat soil requirements is beneficial in the long term.

Municipal road and bridge engineering is an important part of the transportation road construction in the city. Its construction quality directly affects the transportation quality and driving safety of the whole municipal road traffic. Among them, the foundation engineering of municipal road and bridge engineering is the main construction link. In the current municipal road and bridge construction process, it is often affected by many factors, leading to the reduction of the construction quality of municipal road and bridge engineering, especially the construction treatment of soft soil foundation in the foundation engineering, which is the main factor directly affecting the construction quality of municipal road and bridge. This paper first introduces the definition and relevant characteristics of soft soil foundation in the construction of municipal road and bridge engineering, and expounds the influence of soft soil foundation on municipal road and bridge engineering, and then analyzes the application of soft soil foundation treatment technology combined with the basic treatment ideas of soft soil foundation in the construction of municipal road and bridge.

Peat soil is widely distributed in more than 500 countries around the world, covering an area of over 4 million square kilometers, among which the distribution area in China is about 40000 square kilometers, and most of Peat soil is distributed in swamps and forests. Peat soil is with high content of organic matter, poor engineering properties and low bearing capacity, which is very unfavorable to the safety and functionality of infrastructure construction. The Belt and Road, and the other two parts of the peat soil are studied in this paper. The key technologies of peat soil foundation are studied through literature review and comparative study. This will provide theoretical and technical support for repairing bridges, roads and houses in the distribution area of peat soil, and provide the theoretical basis and technical foundation for the construction of the “peat” Road area. In order to select an appropriate foundation treatment of peat soil, a theoretical analysis of peat soil foundation under well ditch treatment was conducted. By contrasting the settlements of well ditches and that of no treatment, the results show that well ditch treatment have advantages in acceleration of the consolidation of peat soil foundation. So well ditch treatment is suitable for peat soil foundation.

Foundation treated with dynamic compaction replacement method can not only improve the foundation strength but also improve the drainage condition, which is advantageous to the consolidation of soft soil. Compared with the widely used immersed tube piles, its construction time is shorter and the benefit is obvious. With a warehouse project as an example, this paper expounds the scheme design, parameter selection, test, inspection, etc. in soft soil foundation treatment in muddy geological conditions taking dynamic compaction replacement method.
