Choosing a major is not an easy matter. There are many factors that must be taken into account and carefully thought out so that in choosing a major, it will cause big losses. There are many ways to determine the selection of majors, one of which is by using fuzzy logic. Determination of majors is determined from the results of the selection test in the academic field with the subjects of Mathematics, English and Computer Knowledge. With the aim of recommending the selection of the right major according to academic abilities and improving quality. By using the fuzzy inference model Mamdani max-min method. The system simulation was tried using the MATLAB Fuzzy Toolbox software. The system design is carried out in several stages, namely: (1) formation of fuzzy sets, (2) formation of rules, (3) determination of the composition of rules, and (4) confirmation (defuzzification). Defuzzification is carried out using the Composite Moment method, with the types of membership functions used are mf-triangular, mf-trapezoid and mf-gaussian. From the results of the tests carried out, it shows that the mf-triangular and mf-trapezoid membership function types produce almost the same level of accuracy. While the membership function type mf-gaussian produces a high level of accuracy for mathematics by 87.50%, English 100% and computer knowledge 81.58%.

Labor absorption is an important factor in supporting economic development through national income. The low level of employment is still a problem in various regions in Indonesia, especially in Central Java Province. The problem of employment, can be overcome by maximizing the factors that affect the increase in labor absorption. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the factors that are thought to affect the increase in labor absorption. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence labor absorption in Central Java Province. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach with a panel data regression model. The best model selection test used is the Chow test, Hausman test, and Lagrange Multiplier test (LM) Test which was carried out using the Eviews 9 software. This study uses cross section data from 35 districts/cities in Central Java Province and time series data on the number of workers, labor force, unemployment, minimum wages, and GRDP of each district/city for the 2015-2020 period. The results of the discussion show that simultaneously and partially the number of workers, the number of the workforce, the number of unemployed, the minimum wage, and GRDP have an effect on the absorption of labor in Central Java Province.

The aim of this investigation was to analyze significant differences in performance depending on the level of play (elite vs. amateur) in youth soccer players (under 17 years. old (U17) and U19). A cross-sectional study was conducted, and 45 elite and amateur male youth soccer players (16.56 ± 0.9 years old) were evaluated in their performances in squat jump (SJ), 10 m linear sprint (LS), 20 m LS, 505 agility test (505) and Illinois agility test (IAT). Differences in performances were analyzed with a 2 × 2 MANOVA, post-hoc ANOVAs, and Hedges’ g (g) for pairwise comparisons of subgroups (level of play and age group). This investigation showed that the elite player performance was significantly (p < 0.05) better in all performance tests than amateur players in both age groups. Interestingly, this investigation showed that the more complex the target exercise, the larger the effect sizes for group differences (SJ: g = 0.64–1.18, LS: g = 0.05–2.23, change-of-direction (COD): g = 3.01–6.84). The SJ, LS, 505, and IAT may prove useful in talent selection test batteries to separate between competitive levels in youth soccer players.

Technological advances and rapid development of the internet, has pushed YouTube to become one of the new communication media by communicating information through audio and video. This information affects the personality of individuals who have a specific purpose in their efforts to communicate. With YouTube, anyone can freely watch whatever information is presented, and create various content without any permits or censors. This condition made some of content creators leaking a number of psychological tests that should be confidential, by making discussions, as well as tips and tricks on how to get a high score on these tests. This study aims to show how a civil servant candidate openly communicates to the public by creating video content on YouTube about tips and tricks for giving deceptive responses (faking) on the Personal Characteristics Test (TKP) used in civil servant selection test (CPNS) in order to get high score in this test. Analysis of the video using Critical Discourse Analysis from Theo van Leeuwen found that, in order to surpass the predetermined TKP passing grade, test takers were required to play the role of being an ideal figure of a civil servant. As in CPNS selection context, the video also reveals that by faking the test answer, it can increase the chances of participants to get high scores in the test. The self-reporting test format, also helped test takers easily fake the test by selecting answers according to the ideal profile of a civil servant, not answering according to his true state, as is expected in psychological tests in general.

Applicants who take part in the selection of Candidates for Civil Servant Candidates (CPNS) must pass through the steps that must be taken which can determine the graduation rate. The criteria for predicting the passing of the CPNS selection test are used by the Basic Competency Selection (SKD) which consists of a Personal Characteristic Test (TKP), General Intelligence Test (TIU), National Insight Test (TWK), Competency Selection Section (SKB) which consists of a computer assisted test (CAT) and interviews, and the number of quotas received. This research is the implementation of Fuzzy Tsukamoto Logic in Predicting the Passing Rate of the CPNS Selection Test. The system for predicting the passing of the CPNS selection test was built using the Web-based PHP programming language. Data management using MySQL database. The overall defuzzyfication (Z) result in the system predicts the passing rate of CPNS = 61.950223979 = 62.

Introduction: Indian Postgraduate (PG) selection process has undergone various modifications since the past decade including the recent single nationalised entrance test initiated from April 2016. The perception of graduates and PGs for the type and process of selection test is not known. Aim: To study the perception of interns and residents regarding the process of the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test for Postgraduates (NEET-PG) selection test. Materials and Methods: An exploratory qualitative thematic analytic study was conducted using purposive sampling with Semi-Structured Interviews (SSI), as per gender and academic grading, interns, and residents were selected. Eleven interns and ten first year residents took part. Braun and Clarke's six-phase thematic analysis framework was used for data analysis. Results: Three themes emerged; "building validity", "Proposed modifications" and "learning by the assessment". Validity building was related in terms of framing the multiple-choice questions, the format of the examination, and single attempt made per year. Different modifications were suggested by graduates and residents, in terms of assessment tools and strategies. Significant variations were observed in terms of learning by present assessment. Conclusion: The NEET-PG, a single nationalised assessment, appears to be well accepted with questioning for its validity in terms of assessment tool used, leading to restricted learning for the applicants. Participants widely proposed various assessment tools and methods for conducting a PG selection test for medical specialties. The NEET-PG assessment requires modification in terms of domains being assessed for the applicant so that it would improve patient care and safety. Selection authorities should pay weightage to the applicant's voice before framing the policies.
