Cryptography is a technique for sending secret messages. This research builds an Android-based email client application which implement cryptography with Schmidt-Samoa algorithm, which is classified as a public key cryptography. The algorithm performs encryption and decryption based on exponential and modulus operation on text messages. The application use 512 and 1024 bit keys. Performance measurements is done using text messages with character number variation of 5 – 10.000 characters to obtain the time used for encryption and decryption process. As a result of this research, 99,074% data show that decryption process is faster than encryption process. In 512 bit keys, the system can perform encryption process in 520 - 18.256 miliseconds, and decryption process in 487 - 5.688 miliseconds. In 1024 bit keys, system can perform encryption process in 5626 – 52,142 miliseconds (7.388 times slower than 512 bit keys) and decryption process with time 5463 – 15,808 miliseconds or 8.290 times slower than 512 bit keys.

A method is proposed which uses the IBM OmniFind Enterprise Edition combined with IBM open source of unstructured information management architecture of Unstructured Information Management Architecture (UIMA), to realize the IBM OmniFind Enterprise Edition semantic search engine search and result classification. This method makes the search space and function more widely, which can not only meet the higher demand of the part of the user, but also increase the competitiveness of the client application.

Large Scale User Applications have been prevalent in the 5G era especially in sectors such as automobile, employee tracking features, e-commerce management, etc., especially with services that connect users with their pain points. One of the pain points observed in the subcontinent regarding an overlooked scenario was driving schools and the business of driving services. The current state of driving schools tends to confuse the user base with miscommunications, late service delivery, licensing formalities, and also the payment structure in the absence of a feedback loop. This project attempts to create a full-fledged driving service solution for the 38-lakh user base in the Indian Subcontinent, so as to acquire driving service providers and connect them with the target audience. This would prompt a smoother process of user onboarding as well as improve the service quality with an integrated milestone payment loop. The results observed through the launch of the application on the Play Store were positive and the young generation aged 18-15 were highly enthusiastic about using the service.

This paper reports on the authors’ experiences with an exploratory prototype festival-wide social network. Unique 2D barcodes were applied to wristbands and mobile phones to uniquely identify the festival participants at the CO2PENHAGEN music festival in Denmark. The authors describe experiences from initial use of a set of social network applications involving participant profiles, a microblog and images shared on situated displays, and competitions created for the festival. The pilot study included 73 participants, each creating a unique profile. The novel approach had potential to enable anyone at the festival to participate in the festival-wide social network, as participants did not need any special hardware or mobile client application to be involved. The 2D barcodes was found to be a feasible low-cost approach for unique participant identification and social network interaction. Implications for the design of future systems of this nature are discussed.
