Some ancient medications were used to make the hair care herbal shampoo powder. Organoglytics, powder characteristics, foam test, and physical evaluation were performed on Tulsi, Shikakai, Heena, Bahera, Amla, Neem, and Brahmi. Existing inspections will assist set standards and assessment criteria, which will undoubtedly aid to standardise the quality and purity of these herbal powder shampoos, due to the selection of drugs once the drugs are used together or jointly. We optimise the formula with the help of the Design of Experiments as per the Quality by Design approach. This paper illustrates broad theoretical as well as practical view of advanced screening design. In addition to the statistical concept‟s regression analysis, parato chart, residual diagnosis, main effect plot, interaction effect plot, design space and multiple response prediction.

Antimicrobial peptides constitute key factors in insect humoral immune response against invading microorganisms. In this study, biochemical approach was identified antimicrobial peptides which appeared in larval hemolymph of Spodoptera litura after bacterial challenge. HPLC profile showed two major peaks in two samples, Brassica oleracea and Ricinus communis fed S. litura that were collected at 5 min interval. It was shown to be active against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. The highest zone of inhibition was observed in Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli in B. oleracea fed S. litura hemolymph fraction II and R. communis fed S. litura hemolymph fraction I and it also contributes the increased antioxidant, lysozyme, and less hemolytic activity were increase in treated groups. TLC activity was tested with hemolymph extract samples, pink color pots was identified the protein present in the samples. An SDS-PAGE result shows that high expression of antimicrobial peptide present in the treated sample. The appearance of peptides with such different properties in insect hemolymph in response to immune challenge indicates the complexity of the insect immune system.

Symphytum L. commonly called as comfrey, belongs to the family Boraginaceae. The genus of Symphytum L. have a great medicinal value and used to treat a wide variety of ailments viz., bronchial problems, sprains, broken bones, arthritis, acne and skin conditions whereas pharmacological effects of comfrey extracts are endorsed to several chemical compounds. In view of above point, the present study of Survey, Collection and Documentation of Symphytum species, were carried out in different places of India. The rhizomes of Symphytum species were collected from Mynala village of Nilgiris, subsequent survey were carried out to IIIM Chatha Research Farm Jammu Tawi during 2017-2018 and it was grown at CMPRH garden, Emerald to confirm the identification of plants species. This specimen was collected and preserved herbarium at CMPRH garden Emerald for future reference. Among plants parts roots and leaves are mostly used for homeopathic system of medicine and this species were maintained and reproduces subsequent year by seed and root fragments. Root cuttings are the least expensive method of propagation. In addition to that Performance of Symphytum officinale at Nilgiris conditions were observed and the results revealed that Symphytum officinale L. is an erect, perennial herb with thick root stock. Leaves oblong-lanceolate and flowers are blue in colour. The data on length of root ranged from 10-20 cm with black to brown colour. Similarly, the length of lower, middle and upper cauline leaves ranged from 32.3-37.2 cm, 25.2-27.8cm, 10.4- 13.2cm, respectively Whereas the width of the lower, middle, upper leaves ranged 12.5-17.4 cm , 7.6- 10.2cm , 3.4-4.1cm, respectively. Further, the studies on Symphytum officnale regarding root yield, dry matter ratio of leaves and roots as well as physiochemical properties other chemical compounds present and uses in homoeopathic system of the medicine under the Nilgiris condition are need to be studied elaborately in future.

A new RP-HPLC method was developed for selective and simultaneous determination of betamethasone dipropionate and tolnaftate in combined semisolid formulation containing other components. Further, the proposed method was validated for linearity, precision (system precision, method precision, intermediate or inter-day precision), accuracy, stability in analytical solution, robustness or system suitability and ruggedness. The developed method exhibited the best results in terms of the aforesaid validation parameters. The other components and additives did not interfere in their determinations. The method was found to be selective, simple, economical, accurate, reproducible, rapid and reliable for routine estimation purpose of these drugs in combined semisolid formulations.

Broaching machine is mainly developed for special purposes where cycle times are less and number of job quantity is very high. Only at such points development of broaching machine is justified. Design of such broaching machine is totally customizable. This paper discuss about frame design of machine, selection of guideways, design of hydraulic power pack for hydraulic operated machine and also selection of various cylinders, pipe fittings, mandrels, pump, motor, etc. So, main purpose of this paper is designing the broaching machine which includes all its components. This paper focuses on selection of bought out parts too.

Identifying the effects of low bid award system in construction projects can be used as benchmark to find alternative method to low bid award system in the future of construction industry. The results of questioner survey conducted to determine the effects of awarding lowest bid award system in construction projects of Ethiopian southern nation are presented in this study. Personnel from consultants, owners and contractors are among the survey`s respondent. The result of the study outlines promote transparency, avoid fraud and corruption, promoting competition amongst contractors, excessive time overrun, compromise quality and hindering profitability of contractors as the top ranked effects of low bid award system. Construction industry participants have started recognizing that accepting the least price bid does not guarantee maximum value. Achieving a value-based procurement approach is a challenge, particularly for the Pakistani public sector clients, who are limited in their ability to evaluate the competitive bids based solely on the lowest-bid award system. Persisting problems of inferior quality of constructed facilities, high incidence of claims and litigation, and frequent cost and schedule overruns have become the main features of public construction works contracts. This research was undertaken to assess the performance of public owned construction projects awarded on a lowest bidder bid awarding system.

The present investigation has examined the impact of micro-SiC on microstructure, dislocation and mechanical behavior of Cu/SiC composite. The micro-composite samples have been fabricated under a constant pressure (480 MPa) and sintered temperature (860oC) for 2 h. The sintering process was performed under argon gas. The microstructure examination was conducted using SEM/EDS and XRD diffraction. The SiC contents were 0, 5, 10,15,20,25 and 30 volume fraction. The outcomes showed that the density was significantly decreased with an increase of silicon carbide content. The relative densities of Cu and Cu/SiC composites was ranged from 91.24% to 83.56% for pure Cu and Cu/30 vol%SiC composites. The copper crystallite size was reduced with growing SiC content while the hardness, ultimate and yield compressive strength increased with increment of SiC volume fraction to 20% vol. The values of hardness, ultimate and yield compressive strength increased to 231 HV,343 and 176 N/mm2 , respectively for the composite sample containing 20% SiC particles with a percentage increase of 75%,26.6% and 57.2% compared with pure Cu.

Agriculture is the most important sector in the Indian economy. It is the most important source of employment for most of the country’s labor force. In 2012, about 49% of the labor force was engaged in agriculture. The highest proportion of these is in the rice sector. Rice is the country’s main stable food. The release of labor to sectors other than agriculture is important to the development of the country. The mechanization of rice fields has played an important role in liberating labor. Feeding a growing population is a huge challenge. The import of rice will cause the country’s economy to drain. The mechanization of the rice sector will lead to higher productivity and release labor to other sectors. The goal of the project is to design a rice transplanting mechanism for small farmers in the country to transplant rice seedlings.

Phytolacca octandra is a perennial usually about 1m high herb, dense and erect in full sun. As only few reports were available on the studies about the bioactive compounds and various activities in the Phytolacca octandra, the present study focuses on the bio active compounds attributed to antibacterial activity in the plant extracts by Gas Chromatography – Mass Spectrometry (GCMS) and molecular docking methods. Antibacterial activity of Phytolacca octandra showed maximum inhibitory zones of 21mm, 18mm, 19mm, 19mm and 20mm against respective organisms for 25mg/ml of acetone extracts. The outcome of Phytolacca octandra extracts that was exposed to GC-MS analysis, showed the presence of 20 more compounds. The most identified compounds to have anti-oxidant activity are Dodecane, Octadecane and Octacosane. The other major compounds present in extract are Cyclohexen-oxopropyl, 1,2-Benzenedicarboxylic acid.The overall docking energies of the target protein, rhamnolipids biosynthesis 3-oxoacyl-[acyl-carrier-protein] reductase with quercetin with the number of hydrogen bonds were presented in the study; The docking report revealed –8.01Kcal/Mol binding energies and 8 hydrogen bonding between the Phytolacca octandra compound, quercetin and the target binding protein, rhlG of infection causing pathogen Staphylococcus aureus.

To achieve increased productivity in poultry chicken, households’ choice of poultry chicken breeds should be maintained according to their desirability. This study aimed at identifying determinants of rural households’ choice of poultry chicken breeds keeping in Wolaita, Ethiopia. Multistage sampling techniques were used. First, Damot Pulasa district was selected purposively because of high poultry production potential, and then simple random sampling technique was used to select five kebeles and at third stage systematic random sampling was used to select 160 rural households. Data were collected through interview schedule and analyzed using descriptive statistics and econometric regression. Result showed that 54.37% of households owned indigenous poultry chicken breed, 38% owned exotic poultry chicken breeds and 7.63% owned both indigenous and exotic poultry chicken breeds. Households attached socioeconomic, demographic and institutional factors and breed related traits to their poultry chicken breed choices. Indigenous chicken breeds were preferred in mothering ability, disease resistance, scavenging ability; taste of meat and egg traits whereas exotic poultry chicken breeds were preferred for growth rate, productivity and total eggs laid per chicken per year. In addition, Multinomial Logit model result indicated that age and education level of household head determined poultry chicken breed choice. To be effective and efficient any poultry chicken breed promotion effort in the future should consider these particular preferences of households.
