In order to strengthen the guiding and supporting role of the innovation-driven development strategy, and to promote the structural optimization and efficiency improvement of the equipment manufacturing industry, this paper analyzes the structure, function and characteristics of the regional equipment manufacturing industry innovation network, and proposes a conceptual model and theoretical hypothesis that the innovation network based on the mediating effect of innovation capability affects the upgrade effect of the regional equipment manufacturing industry. Through a questionnaire survey of 219 enterprises in my country’s equipment manufacturing industry and structural equation model verification, it measures the action path and industrial upgrading law of innovation network influencing regional equipment manufacturing industry upgrading.

The achievement, which Chinese Equipment Manufacturing Industry had accomplished in the ten years after China accessed the World Trade Organization, is first analyzed through the production scale, the export trade, the industry structure and the comprehensive strength and so on in the paper. The problems, which exist in the products, the production capacity, the independent innovation capacity, the production means and the internal and external environment of Chinese Equipment Manufacturing Industry, are pointed out. Some suggestion on the future development strategy is last put forward.

According to the current situation and characteristics of China's equipment manufacturing industry, this paper thinks that the development path of China's equipment manufacturing industry is to construct the network of equipment manufacturing industry cluster innovation. It’s a system to construct China's equipment manufacturing industry cluster innovation network, which need to improve enterprise integration capabilities through the establishment of the network of main business leaders, focus on building innovative platform network and also need collaboration of system and environment to support network. On this basis, this paper analyzes construction strategies of the innovation network of industry cluster.

Fuxin is the first batch of resource type city and economic transformation pilot city, it research the development strategy of equipment manufacturing industry of Fuxin, it plays an important role in changing Fuxin’s single industrial structure and building diversified industrial development pattern. Though analysis the equipment manufacturing industry’s present situation of Fuxin, this thesis sum up the problems that urgently to be solved of Fuxin’s equipment manufacturing industry, and put forward the development and the security measures of Fuxin’s equipment manufacturing industry according to the actual situation in enlarging industrial scale, enhancing the ability of independent innovation, speeding up the implementation of brand management strategy, personnel training strategy, perfecting policy guarantee measures, strive to build the basic framework of Fuxin’s equipment manufacturing industry development strategy which can provide reference to government and enterprises in making plans.

Clique problem has been fully researched in the social relations network of sociology,But the cliques in inter-enterprise networks have attracted people's attention in recent years. Based on the alliance data of the high-end equipment manufacturing industry in China in 2000-2013, we construct innovation network,and use negative binomial regression models to analyze the impact of the clique structure on enterprise innovation. The results show that the more the clique numbers in the alliance innovation network, the stronger the enterprise innovation capability. Whether the enterprises listed have a negative moderating effect on the impact of clique numbers on enterprise innovation performance. That is, for the listed enterprises, more clique numbers cannot significantly promote enterprise innovation, but for non-listed enterprises, more clique numbers are conducive to enterprise innovation. Innovation accumulation has no significant positive moderating effect on the impact of clique numbers on enterprise innovation performance. The impact of the coreness values on the enterprise innovative output in an inverted-U curvilinear way, and the coreness values also moderates the effect of innovation accumulation on enterprise innovation capability in an inverted-U curvilinear way. The conclusions of the research can provide the basis for the enterprise to embed the network cliques and for the relevant government departments to formulate the alliance policy.

The purpose of this study was to discover the crucial issues between TQM and the performance of Malaysian SMEs. This paper also reviewed the need of the other variable in the relationship between TQM and Malaysian SME’s performance; namely innovation. This paper then presents the empirical results carried out on the Malaysian SMEs covering the manufacturing industry. The measurement scale in this study was tested and found to be reliable and valid to examine the research model. The 124 samples obtained were assessed using Smart PLS in order to examine the structural equation model. Empirical findings in this study prove that TQM had an insignificant impact on innovation and performance. Moreover, innovation mediates the relationship between TQM and performance of SMEs in Malaysia. This study provides new evidence in the important area of TQM and innovation of Malaysian SMEs. This study examines the relationships among learning orientation, firm innovativeness and financial performance in the context of the Norwegian wood industry. A questionnaire-based survey was sent to the CEOs of firms in the wood industry in Norway (241 usable replies, response rate of 49 percent). Learning orientation and firm innovativeness were conceptualised and analysed as latent second-order constructs by using structural equation modelling. The findings show that learning orientation has a positive effect on firm innovativeness in the traditional manufacturing industry. In addition, learning orientation was found to positively affect financial performance via the full mediating effect of firm innovativeness. Furthermore, firm innovativeness was also found to have an independent positive effect on financial performance. No direct effect of learning orientation on financial performance was found. According to the data, firm age also does not appear to affect the relationship between learning orientation and firm innovativeness.
