Li4Ti5−xFexO12−y (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.1) anode material was synthesized via a single-step solid-state reaction under a N2 atmosphere. The overdischarge behaviours and discharge mechanism of anode material at a lower voltage (0 V) was investigated.
