Two intersexes of Hirschmanniella shamimi are described and illustrated for the first time from soil samples around rice roots in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, China. The two intersexes have developed female reproductive organs as well as rudimentary male sexual characters. A checklist of intersexes in plant nematodes is also given here.

A New Species

Some new information on a poorly studied lepidopterous family, Immidae Heppner, 1977, is reported from Guangdong Province, in the southern part of mainland China. A new species, viz. Moca austrasinensis Huang & Wang sp. nov. is described from Mt. Wutong, Shenzhen. Imma lathidora Meyrick, 1914 is recorded in Mt. Nankun, Huizhou, representing the first record from mainland China. Adults and male genitalia of the species mentioned are illustrated.

One poorly known and two new species of the Cryptoperla formosana species group from China, C. aculeata (Wu, 1973), C. bicornata sp. nov., and C. cunicidata sp. nov. are presented. Cryptoperla bicornata is the first record of the genus from Henan Province, while C. cunicidata is a new generic and family record for Guangdong Province. A complementary description of C. aculeata is given. Illustrations and color images are provided for each species and each is compared with related congeners of the C. formosana species group. A provisional key to the known species of the group is also presented.

A Helorid wasp, Helorus ruficornis Förster, 1856, is reported for the first time on Tahiti (Society Islands), which is also the first record of both Proctotrupoidea and family Heloridae in French Polynesia. The potential hosts of Helorus ruficornis in French Polynesia are discussed.
