Abstract The micro grid idea provides for the lack of several reversing switches to unitary AC-DC grid that enables connection and charges (loads) to the electrical systems with changeable regenerative AC and CC sources. Safe operation and gadget safety involve digital integration with utilities/grid through power converters. Enhanced client reliability, decreased input losses, local voltages are supported, and waste heat efficiency increased, voltage drop or interruptible supply of electricity can be customized to satisfy their unique customer demands. Work at present Analyses the performance in grid tie mode of hybrid AC/DC systems. Here are PV systems, PV systems, For the construction of microgrids wind turbine generators and batteries are employed. Convert procedures for the correct coordination of AC sub-grids to DC subs-grids have also been established for converters. MATLAB/SIMULINK environment results are generated.

Background: The improvement of the voltage in power lines and the respect of the low voltage distribution transformer substations constraints (Transformer utilization rate and Voltage drop) are possible by several means: reinforcement of conductor sections, installation of new MV / LV substations (Medium Voltage (MV), Low Voltage (LV)), etc. Methods: Connection of mini-photovoltaic systems (PV) to the network, or to consumers in underserved areas, is a well-adopted solution to solve the problem of voltage drop and lighten the substation transformer, and at the same time provide clean electrical energy. PV systems can therefore contribute to this solution since they produce energy at the deficit site. Results: This paper presents the improvement of transformer substation constraints, supplying an end of low voltage electrical line, by inserting photovoltaic systems at underserved subscribers. Conclusion: This study is applied to a typical load pattern, specified to the consumers region.

ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) countries may have a huge potential for utilizing wind energy as it requires little in the way of land. Land in these countries is very fertile and is used by other alternatives, therefore reducing its conduciveness for developing solar energy. The wind resources map is widely available for Laos, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia and Philippines but there is not much information about other ASEAN countries. Based on meteorological data, Tioman Island was selected as the area that had the best potential for installing wind turbines in Malaysia. A more detailed study was conducted using a CFD model for unsteady flow, known as the Research Institute for Applied Mechanics, Kyushu University, COMputational Prediction of Airflow over Complex Terrain (RIAM-COMPACT®) which is based on the Large-Eddy Simulation (LES) technique. Micro-siting technique is used as a tool for selecting appropriate point and an inappropriate point for locating wind turbine generators (WTGs) at Tioman Island, Malaysia. The suggested points for locating WTGs were shown based on the numerical results obtained from the calculation.
